do you have videos about fiber optic? especially for home setup. I'm running through bottlenecks and I think the only way to overcome them is by implementing vlans turnks through 10Gb fiber optic links. I tried RJ45 SFP+, I didn't like the temps I saw on the modules

Hello! Those videos are coming and were shot just last month. If you need to do high-speed networking and have the ability to install fiber throughout, that is the way to go.

@@trueCABLE I am extremely excited now you cant believe it. cant wait for the videos. I want to invest more into networking, I recently got almost all Mikrotik certifications, I am just not confident enough to start experimenting with fiber optic, but I think ill take the leap of faith and go ahead.
I love your videos, keep it up :)

Why not use a passthrough cat6a connector where i wont have to worry about the IDC. This reminds me of those lucent rj11 snaps from a former life (im only 30 years old). Pull back on the jacket, cut the shielding, leave the drain, insulation will get thinner and life works and i never have to worry about IDC.

Hello Danny! As it turns out, field termination plugs will provide maximum performance and termination durability. This is the side effect of a component-rated and impedance-matching IDC-style connector, which is the field termination plug, most definitely. That all said, field termination plugs may be unusable due to their physical size. If an 8P8C (aka RJ45) connector is required, we offer a wide variety of those, too. I have found that maximum performance with TIA Cat6A MPTL testing is achieved with load bar push-in style connectors that stagger the conductors as opposed to pass-through straight-across style plugs. The 500 MHz Category 6A operating frequency can cause quite a bit of crosstalk at the connector! Fitment with 8P8C connectors and solid copper conductors is also critical, so proper plug-to-cable fitment must be researched. trueCABLE goes the extra mile in validating and testing our connectors with our cable so that your chances of success are maximized.
