Not much going on in the world of fast boats any more. It’s been priced out of the range of most boaters. I toured the Skater facility over 20 years ago. Each boat is a custom. I’d like to see Skater take a chance with a “break out” design in the cockpit area and the power plant area. Mercury is spending all its money on outboards which has limitations. I’m no big fan of electric unless something is done with combustion/electric.

I was never an outboard guy, but with my new DCB M37, I love the outboards. Looking forward to seeing when the 500R's come out.
