They're the same foundations as civilian market bikes. Just completely overhauled (Engine, Suspension, drivetrain) , not sure what the specs are here but in 1000cc MotoGP the bikes make around 300hp compared to the 200hp the production models make.
You don't have to. They probably throw the chain away after one single race, so the rear fork is already setted for the right tension and it doesn't need further adjustments because the worn chain isn't gonna be used anymore

Yes I understand your point of view, but in this type of racing the purpose is that the same motorcycle resist all the hours of the race, thats why is called endurance racing
@@johncarl5505 First: because Prototyps aren't relevant for the Public Motorcycle-Market Second: Prototyps are highly Expensive, which means small teams won't have the chance to race them. See MotoGP, even in the Moto3 class the teams need Millions of dollars per Year. So not using Prototyps makes sense in every aspect.

and to think everything he just did takes me like an hour on a mini bike
Are this kind of bike sold in the market. Or the racer orders them with racing rules in mind to c.ompany

Finland mentioned, we shall meet at the market!
Nice video, good job! !😀👍 , awser "s" 1000!!!😀🎉🎊💰Best.pitstop! !
How do u regulate the tension of the chain (=the position of the rear wheel?)
You don't have to.

Yeah, ow dear!
You set it before the race (or season) and as long as chain doesnt wear out or dont change sprockets you don't have to set it anymore.
I need 30 minute to change tire.. lol
@@christianboudreault3431 so? It takes still like 10-15 minutes to change tire to bike.

Pitstops makes sense for cars, but for bikes??
Why can't the rider change bike...its faster and saves time too.

Now MotoGP doesn't have any excuse about not having pit stops in their races
MotoGP doesn't have paper tires like F1.
bro what? motogp isn't an endurance series you nutjob. they don't even need to change tires in the first place.
MotoGP only change motorcycle in the races

its a motorcycle theres not that much to do and the other people change the front one.
The rear wears out way faster than the front.
