The power of Gith has been reduced significantly in Patch 9. We have Paladin, level 5 & some incredible spells. Great job, another surprise by Larian. This battle is already easy so I will not be making more videos on it. Armour class has been reduced of many npcs. This is default classic mode maybe.
I wonder what will be max difficulty. I eagerly await. :)
Prone condition is not giving advantage in this patch.

That "fly spell" is perfect! 🤣

i had no idea that command was now an AOE spell.
and the fact that no one made the save is absolutely mind boggling to me.
ive never had the AI fail a spell save so I just quit using magic altogether because its been completely useless, just a wasted turn. Thats why I max strength and just give everyone a sword, way easier because weapon attacks never miss and magic never succeeds.
you also managed to get such a perfect turn order that you were able to group up and fireball 5 people at once. absolutely incredible. everytime i run this fight they scatter and teleport all over the place. lucky to get 2 of them at a time.
but, i also have the worst luck of any dnd player (Table top, my attack rolls dont roll above a 5, this is a consistant problem for me over 5 years of playing 5e and with multiple dice sets too, i never get above a 5 so i started just playing a healer since theres no dice roll required aside from hp gain and you can just take the average which is way better than rolling all 1's on a cure wounds.)
watching someone whose luck is on the other extreme is like watching someone playing with hacks enabled hahah.

Command level 2 targets 2 ennemies.
I would advise you to give magic a second try because it is pretty busted. Also weapons attacks don't "always" work. Maybe try to give a look at the ennemies statline before using spells too.
Last thing. Dexterity impacts the order in which creatures and people take their turn.

Hold Person also holds more than one humanoid after a few levels. It's very OP if the targets fail their saving throws.

fyi you can also intimidate the gith and they'll leave all the same without a fight.
figured this out because the game crashed my first time fighting them.
second time i chose different options and decide to be a total dick since I knew i'd have to kill them either way. To my surprise. They respected me for it, and left lmfao.

Do you think Oathbreaker is strong? I like The Ancients one a lot, but I’m curious to playing Oathbreaker both rp and combat-wise

I think the most powerful spell of an oath breaker is the AOE fear, it’s very effective against large group of enemies, especially melee ones. Currently the overall playstyle isn’t so different but it’s gonna change when we get to higher levels

Did you get rid of Laezel? She always spoils Gith patrol fight. I usually kill her at the start. ☺️

Lae'zel is in the camp. Shadowheart approves & Lae'zel disapproves it constantly happens, avoid this by travelling with them together.

@@guillaumedupeyron3164 Most acts of cruelty they actually both approve of. Lae'zel just approves of all of them, so there's some she approves of that Shadowheart doesn't, though Shadowheart usually doesn't disapprove of cruelty either. Ideal evil/asshole run is Lae'zel Shadowheart and Astarion, since their approval will shoot through the roof if you refuse to help innocents with their problems, and then generally be an overall dick to everyone in the game
