So this is a shortened version of the 41 you reviewed in Miami, @13:05 whats with the hazardous metal thing on the bow seating, can see that being deleted with the side windows u mentioned. Dan, any chance you can review the Rio Daytona 50, gorgeous looking boat, it has outboards but are hidden under the sunbed, not seen any review of it yet.
So yes this is the entry level Fjord now and little sister to the 41 correct. I think you’re referring to the arm rest? Regarding Rio I have left them my business card at a boat show. What really helps is when you guys ask the factories to get their boats on my channel. A lot of factories who don’t know me are confusing me with TicTok and social media influencers which I’m not. When they understand what I’m doing the door opens to getting access to the boats and then I can make it happen.
Great review Dan, how good is Mallorca? Love it. No fold down decks seems an oversight given the cheaper Scandi/Polish completion offers it as standard these days.
Great tour Dan. I prefer the XL over the XP as there's a bathing platform to mount a tender onto. How do you launch/recover a tender from this fixed platform on the 39 XL? That amazing passarrelle is too low to help with that i think? So if on a mooring ball etc, how get ashore/out for the evening, when youre overnighting, weekending? Just a thought. Love Fjords. The 41 XL prob my fave due to extra cabin anyway 👍
Great point I should have addressed that in the video. Your only option for storing a tender onboard would be snap davits. However I would leave the tender on my mooring ball and use inflatable SUPs for going ashore as a tender would look strange in my opinion. The main market for these is in Europe where they all live in marinas which is why they haven’t factored in tender storage. On the bigger Fjords you get a garage for this
You can get fake teak. You can also get Ctek, or SeaTek as the call it for the boats. The fake teak is actually more expensive than the real stuff. However, if younget SeaTek or SeaDeck foam padding, you habe no maintenance and it lasts for about 5 years. These make great yacht tenders amd party boats. Especially taking guets out for fishing or in an inflatable and diving. I think they have a dive door.
There is no purpose on having 39 and 41 in the line, they should ditch one of two and whicever they choose to stay - keep both rooms there as the second berth was even better and they ditched it. Other than that, great boat. Had a wonderful time on 41XL
Call me old fashioned, and I am, but sorry Dan..... it's UGLY UGLY UGLY. Love your videos though so don't let the lack of design talent of these boat builders put you off. Rio make a nice looking boat or two..... Cheers S
@@BoatLife_DansBoatLife He's got a point though, try to get your hands on one of the smaller Rio models, those are darn good looking boats without neglecting practicality.
Look at how gorgeous and how clean and clear the water is in spain.
Nice. Love how much better the bathrooms are on these newer boats.

It's a legit paradise! Stay tuned for drop down wings on future Fjord's.

Is a video about the Frauscher 1414 Demon Air planned?
Unfortunately not… but I have filmed the Frauscher X Porsche coming soon
Really wish Fjord would make a smaller boat in the same design, that I might (might) be able to afford some day
Have you seen the Ryck?
@@BoatLife_DansBoatLife Yeah, that's top of my list, love that boat
You won't be very popular with your service engineer sending him down there.
Good upload.
Imwill, say with a 39' boat, they coukd have gotten another cabin in the back probably.
I kinda like it...
Price? I do believe it is outregeuos

Price USD?
Hi Josh, I'm not sure in USD. The dealers in Ft Lauderdale already have one I believe so give Udo a call www.yachtsalesinternational.com/contact-us/
Overall I enjoyed the presentation, but why no indication of approx price? Thats just daft!
Do they sell these in the US, I don’t see any options on there website.
Yes they do, check out www.yachtsalesinternational.com/brands/fjord-boats/
And..... Yet another cookie cutter boat! (YAWN)!!! SORRY Dan, but great comprehensive tour as always thank you.
Can't please everyone I guess - no worries!
Boat price has gotten crazy high for all boat's. 😢😢😢😢😢😢 . The average person can't afford to have a wonderful time on the water. 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
Yes that’s true in the West but lots of opportunities to be had in S/E Asia and other countries for working class people. Future still looks bright…
Nice boat but I like outboard engines.
They have an outboard version. I hope to test this in the US
🙏 👍 🇨🇷

One man’s trash, is another man’s treasure.
Personal preference I guess. I personally like this style but I get that it won't appeal to everyone.

UGLY!!! To say the least!
It's not really ugly. It's not for me either.
One cabin on a 39 is disappointing
I’ll pass that onto the designers. Do you think you would use a boat like this for overnight?
@@BoatLife_DansBoatLife yes
That white interior is for someone who is single, no kids or pets and old fraternity bros not allowed on board
Haha
