Truly the BEST 42 footer out there! BLUEGAME was always a very high-end, seaworthy and majestic boat/yacht designer and builder! Wish to own one in my life!! Congrats for the video!!
much more to my liking, two ladders design and carbon finish!! sweet dan is the best man, james bond of the boat world ⛵ classy videography and editing
whole time I'm watching, I'm think - oh I dont like that there isnt a way of enclosing the space, then I see they even thought of that to the next level. Quality boat, quality video.
So yes I would class the interior fit and finish to be at the top of the range. It’s been very nicely done. Anybody who’s had a Sanlorenzo will be familiar with it.
Top notch built boat, interesting design. Although IMO, the 2 ladders at the back seem an overkill blocks space and views, or maybe its a clever disguise as support for the roof.
I have a soft spot for that BG54 due to the roof design that's a bit better for the Southern Hemisphere. There isn't any in Australia that i'm aware of but i'll be in Europe and the US in the upcomming months so if I get a chance i'll do it.
A great boat for the Aegean and Mediterranean coasts. It can also carry many toys on its back. I hope you can test it on the sea. I am writing from Türkiye. The tests carried out at sea with drone video footage are very good. Even if people cannot buy these boats, they can still feel the joy thanks to you.
The flickering is most likely due to the mismatch between powersupply and camera framerate. If my memory serves correct, EU and Aus. is 50Hz and US is 60Hz so you should try to make the framerate a multiple of those 25/50 in EU, 30/60 US or check the specific boat. There are post production AI tools that can eliminate/reduce it. I love this boat and allways thought that they could enclose it into a walkaround cabin boat, change the diner in the cabin into a proper bed with a bulkhead and door and it would make the ultimate scandinavian boat. It would make the Targa/Sargo look pedestrian. If i could i would by that in a heartbeat but as is it's still in the top 10 of the "if i win the lottery" list.
Nothing to do with 50hz or 60hz it is just camera frame rate. Most smaller cameras you can adjust the frames to prevent this. Watch other boat tours and you see flicking inside with LED lights and then the tour person makes and adjustment and they go away.
@@jng72769 So adjusting the framerate helps the problem....thats what i said, only i provided a possible cause to the mistery on why certain framerates flicker....
Copy that… I’ve read this thread and will have a play with my settings. I wonder if Asia is different to US/EU. It’s all part of the fun moving to new countries every week so I just need to work it all out for each region.
@@BoatLife_DansBoatLife There are worse things that could be happening, like you could be chained to a desk someplace! BTW love your reviews and your perspective even if you say "here" funny.
Hi Dan can you contact Micah of Life Proof boats and do a review of those? They are supposed to be virtually unsinkable and they make them for patrol and rescue but now make them for adventure.
I have seen some videos about Life Proof Boats so would be interested to learn more. Generally it’s easier to get me onboard when the factories hear from their customers that they want me to test the boats. That seems to be how a lot of doors are opening. Otherwise when i approach them they keep confusing me for social media influencers
Love the channel, can I make a request for you to add transparency to your watermark. Solid Static logos burn into oled tv’s. An alternative is to move it around to a different corner each minute
I have a guess on the light flicker. Some cameras will have an adjustable frame rate or FPS. You have to sync or choose the right one for the lights. Lights will flicker at 50Hz or 60Hz depends where in the world you are. EU is 50, North America 60. Some lights might be on their own PWM rate because of the brightness level they are set at. Changing the brightness of these lights might bring them into sync, and full bright is going to be the fastest and less noticeable or maybe the LED is even at direct drive for full. A last try would be to change the shutter speed but i have no experience with trying that. A dedicated light on the canera might wash out any flicker or minimize it. Whatever it is, I think you are more self aware of it vs your audience. Plus there was that rainbow light flicker a couple months back which was a highlight.
Hi Dan. One look at that deck hardware and we know we're not shopping in the bargain basement.....haha! And.... the lovely and stylish interior..... very nice..... the day boat for the young man with everything! .......however.... because I am an old fart, and Australian, I'm struggling to see value against a Riviera 395 SUV...... nonetheless... this boat is strangely appealing....go figure. I guess it's that SL quality.... Cheers S
That would be a young lucky man Scott! Yes I see the value and argument for a Riv in Aus so you are correct. This BG42 would be ok for Aus but I think their BG54 actually makes more sense for Aussies due to the roof design. I would prefer to run this BG42 in Europe or the US.
Oh that’s the Google algorithm thinking you want to see all that stuff. Maybe your kids have been scrolling through bullshit on your phone and it thinks you want to buy video games or something?
@@scottdynek2728 yeah I’ve been trying to test them for the last 2yrs but they don’t respond to me so I’m not sure if they are any good? But they do look interesting that’s for sure

So does that mean I need to find a Bond Girl for the channel..? 😎
Love the accomidation on this boat. Great family boat.
This is the coolest boat i have ever seen 🤩
For a 42 feet, thats alot of boat 😮💨👍
Nice walkthrough Dan, the top of the hard top with the sun pad is clever and fun

Yes that is catered for with the hard clears. Shes functional and cool this boat. Has a real presence on the water and at the dock which I enjoyed too
I love this boat. I want one!
Love a heat thingawajiggy! Lovely boat, even better video Dan.
Only thing better then one heat thingawajiggy is two, so you can not burn both hands.
Haha… that’s my go-to word when I’ve forgotten the name of something 😅😂 I have to laugh when I can watch myself getting mental blanks on camera 🎥
Dan, In the states we don't call it a fender, we call it a rub rail.
Rub rail - sounds cool 😎
Great looking boat!
The Bluegame BG42 looks like it will be a great day-boat. At 0:32 the water is so clear, the boat almost appears to be floating on the... water
Great looking boat fit and finish is outstanding, but I bet it’s expensive and out of reach for ordinary people ,another great video Dan
base price 1.3 million euros

It's quite handy when you want to go aloft. Maybe it's also a styling decision too?
Very nice walkthrough tour and we are waiting the same video for Bluegame BG54

Might need to update the description info. It has Fjord links. (Test Drive vid too) Nice boat tho.
Crikey! Thanks for that. I had Fjord open on the second screen. My mistake
Nice boat. You forgot to specify the engine size, range, and price
