Reckon I could live aboard that one quite comfortably. Keen to watch the underway vid. Thank you Dan for continuing your unbiased commentary. #girlsboattoo
Howdy @danjones ✌️I love tailor made boat, specially for family, on vacation mode. Special mention to the smart layout design 👏NGL,, I like long tours...45 minutes, we need more long tours. good work 🍕i believe your editor done tremendous work, keep up mate.
Great video Dan, as always. Nimbus is one of my go-to brands, finely built craft. This one is a real family boat, just needs more refrigeration. Cheers mate.
Mate, you didn't show the kiddies or third cabin OR the main room head/shower (you said there were 2 heads in the beginning). Not good to keep losing your way around...
I explained this in the description and comments already but just so you know it takes me 14hrs per boat to film these videos as I do everything myself. I was pretty tired after spending the previous two days cruising this actual boat 400nm across the Mediterranean so I literally just forgot.
@@BoatLife_DansBoatLife Not to be mean or overly critical, but the guy is giving you honest criticism, good feedback and instead of saying "thanks, you're right. I'll make sure to try and improve going forward" you are seemingly defensive and full of excuses. Your channel, you do your thing how you choose, just saying.
Great boat, will no doubt collect a few boat of the year awards, so much innovation packed in. Dont like the crouching headroom in the Master. She's an expensive boat to have that issue, but every boat is a compromise... 👍
While there are many great things to like about the boat, the lack of a place to put any food at all is a deal breaker. It would have been nice to see the third cabin and the second head too.
Nice walk-through Dan as always love Scandinavian boats like targa and Sargo. I’m not gonna ask any dumb questions like why not complete but will ask do you know the bridge clearance seems like a nice boat to do the great loop here in America
Appreciate that! The sea trial is quite detailed also if you're interested. She's 6088mm with targa arch - 5090mm without arch and mast folded down - 4116mm without any mast. This is an ideal boat for living aboard for long periods.
Excellent tour as always, Dan. Looks to me like Nimbus started with all the standard luxury 50 footer requirements and then did that 'Swedish Thing' that emphasizes function, quality and simple lines, giving them product differentiation in the process. Did it feel like they were trying to put just a bit too much into the space they had? A single gen set would worry me a bit if I had a lot of miles & anchorages in mind. Too many Fisher Panda "issues" and no alternative energy sources.
G'day Jack! They have packed a lot into this boat but absolutely make it functional. It's not perfect but what boat is I guess. I can see many ex-sailors like you appreciating this design. I also like the idea of twin gensets - even a second smaller capacity genset as backup would be of interest to me also.
I did - you may notice i film these videos generally without stopping and I just forgot. We had driven 400NM on this boat the previous two days so didn't have much sleep and was rushing to get the Nimbus rep back in time for a flight.
the only "flaw" I can see on this boat is that they didnt think of a solution to store the canopies, "marex style". Other than that, it's simply genius everywhere you look
@@BoatLife_DansBoatLife missed the kiddies room and the master bathroom. but all good still so much detail here, dan really goes the deepest into actual livability
@@corwingarber Agh yes thats correct, i explained that in the video description - I just forgot. We were on a time limit that day as the skipper had to make a flight and we had just driven the boat 400NM miles the two previous days so didn't have a lot of sleep. I've actually filmed a video of the trip so more content coming on this boat which should be useful.
@@BoatLife_DansBoatLife epic! looking forward to it. but anyway yea of course no worries. always a treat to get to watch your coverage. all the detail and explanation helps me really understand what one might want, long term, when considering to make a purchase.
It;s not just a kiddies cabin it's also an optional office/study. I literally just forgot as we were in a rush to get the boat back so the Nimbus rep could make a flight and were filming this without much sleep having driven the boat 400NM the previous two days.
Hermosa presentación, su editor merece un aumento por ofrecer videos de alta calidad. Me encantan tus esfuerzos, canal bien hecho. Mereces mi apoyo.
This is my new favorite boat! Thanks for the review Danno
Impressive boat, simply the best tour vid! Good job Dans Jones and team 👍👍👍

I truly love this boat. And, the tour, as always, is fantastic.
Fantastic boat . Thanks

Thanks for the share Dan.
elegant interior, cheers to the sage green colour choice
Sage Green… so thats what it’s called!
@@BoatLife_DansBoatLife very calm colour in my opinion! thank you for review this boat.
Great boat, greater presentation... awesome, mate. See you on patreon, looking forward to hearing your opinion comparing this to the Greenline 45/48
Il est super ce bateau

Fantastic vid!!
Docking a motor boat is a piece of cake compared to berthing a sailing yacht

Holy #%$€!! 1:13 you almost smacked your ankle 🫣
Interestingly, no microwave. Nice boat. You forgot the kiddie area.

Dan, did I miss or did you miss the third cabin?
I did - you may notice i film these videos generally without stopping and I just forgot. We had driven 400NM on this boat the previous two days so didn't have much sleep and was rushing to get the Nimbus rep back in time for a flight.
Any plans to review any of the Aviara models? Beautiful boats. Would love to see the great Dan Jones take on one.
Not at this time… I have noticed quite a few of them in Florida this month however
Are other drive options available
the only "flaw" I can see on this boat is that they didnt think of a solution to store the canopies, "marex style". Other than that, it's simply genius everywhere you look
Did I miss the kiddy room or was it accidentally or intentionally skipped?
How much?
need y a licens for drive the boat?
Yes in countries that require a licence you will
? Why not complete ?
…?

🙏 👍 🇨🇷
Gyro noise seemed higher than normal on this one
Seakeeper a bit quieter but it’s not intrusive when hatch closed.
@ I’m only being picky because it seems like an otherwise great boat that’d really our climate. I love the glass in the back, such a unique feature.

Love Nimbus boats...
Kiddie cabin? Master en suite? 45 minutes on a 50 foot yacht and you do not show it all?
Come on...

Dieser KI-Kommentator ist einfach schrecklich. Dieses Boot mag praktisch sein; aber es vermittelt den Charme eines Wohnwagens. Nichts für mich.
Che schifo quel vetro posteriore 👎👎👎
Fortunately you can retract it if it's not your style
