A lovely part of the world you live in , and the bike seems an ideal way of getting around . The technology has definitely come a long way in recent years, as is evident in your new machine . Best wishes and kind regards 😀👍👍👍
thank you...its fun riding around our village
@@ProfSimonHollandhow large is your village? How far can you go on a charge?
Thank you so much for the great video!
Glad it was helpful!
Cute little bike! Mine weighs a ton too. Glad you’re exercising, you’ll stay young!
thanks Tony
Sounds interesting to me if one lives in the right part of central/SW Ohio. Most rural cases require at least a speed of 50 mph to prevent cars from running you off the road, but for an urban town or small city it should be a good transportation vehicle.
yes....pick an ebike that suits your mission
My brother got house boat ....getting from the boat to the car is pain ...Bike like that is ideal
For such a small bike it does have a good range in the spec s sheet
its simple and a good run about
You should join Peak Torque for the next bike test. 😊
That's nice .. with things like that the battery is always sort of the weak point .. can you replace it, and maybe get a 2nd one to increase range. I mean if you are in a caravan might not always be easy to recharge it. I guess an origami bike thats 20 kg is a bit too heavy to stick in your backpack. But might be usefull to put in a hidden place in a caravan or pop-up camper or trailer tent. Apparantly caravans are too big and heavy to be towed by electric cars halving the range. So people get these light and low trailer tents now. So no space to take a full bicycle, so folding ones might help. My uncle way back used to have this little goat farm near brassac france near montauban. I remember it was very mountainey and distances where very long to shops. Not ideal for bikes heh.
Any chance you might do a video covering electric motors suitable for DIY electric bikes ? I do not know enough about this topic to even know where to start looking for info about what I need . I do not want to just buy an electric bike and use it to convert a standard bike , too much like cheating .
i had a bike converted....cost more than a new e bike...but it gave my old bike a new life
As a terrible car (but only sometimes), I would just like to say that I don't _want_ to crash into anyone. Even though the idea is tempting sometimes!
Im 19 stone and 6 foot 2, what do you think would it work for me?
probably not...the instructions say nobody over 45??? why..ha
@@ProfSimonHollandHa Why indeed. Thanks
It's certainly not a solex.
no.....cant wait to share my new solex film with you.
