we finished it!
the first video of this song had a lot of positive feedback, upon reading the comments of that video, i noticed a lot of you really wanted the full song and that many were sad that we decided to stop.. so we finished it for you guys
You all Can feel free to mod it if you want, no need to ask permission for that, but please, make sure to credit us.
also, let me put it in a way you ALL can understand:
1- we're NOT mocking edd gould's death, we love and appreciate everything he has done, this is a fan concept we made based around the idea of the pibby virus reaching the universe of eddsworld, that's all.
2- yes, we ARE aware the pibby virus only corrupts TV shows, but we don't really care, we're not making a mod, it's a concept, an idea.
don't call us out on that, we know what we're doing.
3- Just because most pibby mods are low effort and awful doesn't mean you gotta bark at us for doing this. don't compare those weird and shitty pibby videos with ours, we actually put love and effort to this.
4- it's a silly idea? Yes.. definitely.. but come on, we had fun making this.. we didn't do it for views and we only finished it because a lot of people requested it

Okay, I want to make it clear, our intention was NEVER to disrespect, or play with, Edd Gould's death, I don't know how there were people comparing corruption to his illness, which doesn't make any sense. Nanno and I are both Eddsworld fans, and it was done out of fun, love, and effort, something fan-to-fan. And yes, we know the idea is silly, and that it only makes sense with tv shows that have been finished, but bear in mind that this was done FOR FUN.
Stop jumping to conclusions and comparing us with others Pibby's horribly content, thanks for your attention

THIS feels like the true final boss of the pibby series when you think about it.
Edd is a self-insert esc character, being close to the real world and fiction at the same time. Not only that, but edd literally has gotten the opportunity to be a real show on MULTIPLE networks as said in an interview, but he refused all of them. Unlike the networks, the darkness doesn’t give you the choice. If the darkness takes control of edd, they could probably go back into those offers and somehow accept them in a way, making eddsworld widespread across a ton of channels. This already makes edd extremely powerful in this instance and it could potentially lead to the darkness getting way more powerful. It only helps that the song sounds like the true ending and the final stand of the darkness, using its last and strongest weapon.

What's worse is that they got other characters from eddsworld, Tom and tord are caught by the darkness and Matt is the only survivor between the 4

Except, all 4 Eddsworld protags have been in Zombie Apocalypse. Meaning they all have experience with something like this, and the only person I can see falling is Matt.

Good god, Edd's Vocals are godly here, the beat is representing some sort of final battle and the new sprite is so much fucking greater. I have a feeling the old sprite is somewhere where he can be rescued but after the original 45 seconds it changes, to the point he cant be brought back due to further corruption. Good job you two.

I am grateful I knew about Eddsworld a while ago. It brought me happiness until what happened.

Edit: I don’t understand why some of you guys think this video is playing with Edd’s death, its just a simple song with a thing that everyone uses now. You should know people are better than this. But not all people are good. I don’t like how this world has came to this. I hope we can be better in the future.

this song sounds really sad, and i love it because it truly shows how a corruption infecting and in a sense killing people is a sad concept, to see your friends and family changed to a point you cant fix
Even if the original creators won't make this a mod, this can never actually be a mod, because:
- .FLA files of the currently finished idle have not been released to the public
- Music and instrumental are put together, and thus we don't have the only vocals/only instrumentals versions of the song
This will forever stay a concept unless the original creators decide to make it a mod, which they probably won't.

Ok so for the Inst And Voices that's no real problem as you can just make the full song an instrumental and have the voices be mute and for art you can just take every frame from the video
Most mods don't have the vocals and instrumentals as separate tracks, even some popular mods, but I dont remember the specific ones. And as for the sprites? An easy fix. Screenshot each frame of the idle shown in the video, edit out the gray background for each frame, crop the frames so that its only Edd, then put it all evenly into a sprite sheet.

If the inst and vocals were combined, then either the whole track would stop after missing a note, or nothing would stop and it would keep going
Thank you so much for continuing this project! You guys put your time and soul into this song is what i can most definitely tell. It’s still sad to think that people were just saying that your team was mocking Edd Gould’s death and giving Pibby more fame. It actually kind of hurts. Edd was a well respected person by his friends, family, and fans. I’m also an Eddhead myself. If I have to be honest, the FNF fandom is slowly growing worse even though more amazing mods pop up. A couple creators left because of the pressure and everything. Overall, you and Tio Sans have done an amazing job.

if this was a mod edd and bf would be teleported random places since edd is the artist after all trying to use it to put bf in a bad spot like where he falls or maybe close to the glitch. Edd could also spray cola all over the health bar making it so when bf hits a note he only gains half the amount of health he normally gets and lose 2x the health when he misses
edit:I have another idea at 1:01 it shows edd trying to break free for a small second since it is the jingle that plays in very eddsworld episode reaching out to bf to save him but then he gets covered in the glitch and gets controlled by it again. Another idea I have is that bf could have picos gun with him like a lot of the learning with pibby mods and the glitch can go back and forth going in front of edd and behind him when it is in front of him you have to shoot the glitch by pressing space there is a 5 second cool down so you can not spam it because if you don't shoot it you get poisoned. Becuase the glitch crawls on the health bar and slowly drains it maybe in a 3rd song edd could go power edd mode trying to break free while edd is breaking free their is no cool down and bf has to shoot rapidly or else he will have 1% health
another edit:another idea i came up after edd goes power edd the glitch covers him up but when the glitch uncovers him glitch tom is their and takes control of the fight you then rap battle him then glitch edd comes back and you have to rap both tom and edd at the same time i think tord would be the survivor because he is smart he would rebuild his robot for world domination but the glitch comes before he can do his world domination plan but then escapes the glitch with it so maybe in a week 2 bf is about to be glitched but in the last minute tord saves him and then you have to rap battle glitch matt tom and tord with tord in his giant robot haveing to shoot bullets and rockets at em

I love everything about the song hands down.
The background music/intrumentals makes it feel like you're watching an actual Eddisode/Eddsworld animation, but something is wrong/off, almost disturbing in a way.
I don't know why but Edd's vocals are plucking at some specific heart strings, 0:13-0:17, as well as 0:26-0:31, are the ones that get me the most.
Everything about this mod is so nostalgic, but off-putting to where you know this isn't the same as the one you've watched all those years ago, which is what Pibby (the show) is going for.
The song sounds heavenly, and Edd's vocals makes it even better.

The first minute of the song where the theme of like the start or ending of an eddisode. 1:00 this time. to me it feels like edd was still somewhat alive. trying to "end" the episode so no more harm can be done. but then the corruption completely takes over him and the episode continues. thats just a little theory i have.

Also heres a question if the creator sees it. What would you think would happen to bf if he does get corrupted? he isnt a cartoon character hes a game character. So how would game characters react to the corruption?

To be honest, this song kind of sounds like Edd is trying to fight the Pibby corruption. Am I the only one who thinks that? It’s just the flow of the song and the fact that some of Edd’s vocals sound like he’s hurting, yelling, and calling for help that makes it seem that way.
No you're not the only one. It does sounds like Edd is fighting for it while he's in pain, which explains why in his voice it sounds like he's saying "ow" or "aaahh!" There are also a bit of parts where he's also saying "help me." It's sad

Pibby Eddsworld would actually make sense when you think about it. After all, Eddsworld *is* a cartoon series that finished airing (for 4 years but still). So if it'd aired on, like, Cartoon Network or something as opposed to Newgrounds and RUclips, then there'd be no reason at all *not* to have Eddsworld make an appearance in Pibby.
To anyone calling this an insult to Edd, I’m pretty sure Edd would love seeing people interpret his characters in creative ways, so leave your comment in the trash…

Did you use Tord's vocals and change them a bit, use Edd's vocals from the Vs. Eddsworld ( the voice overs for Garcello's week ), or make completely new ones?
