    Beautiful groove! Not sure if my pan is not as good quality as yours or if I just need more practice, but it seems your harmonics are done so effortlessly where I feel I'm having to press really hard on mine......

    Do you have to have a $2,400 dollar hangdrum for these techniques? I'm not being fictitious, I'm just wondering if my $600 dollar one just won't resonate enough for this type of stuff to work. Great videos by the way!

    • @the_minimalistic_adventure
      @the_minimalistic_adventure 4 года назад

      Usually $600 handpans will be subpar. A lot of beginners unfamiliar with this instrument will fall in to this trap because there's not a lot of info out there about them.
      And the instrument Jacob is using in this video is an Axiom B Celtic Minor and falls right at the $2k mark for the 8 note + center ding note, if not a couple hundred more.
      But this is also not a Hang drum. Those are built by PANArt in Switzerland. This is a handpan!

      Join the Handpan Swap or Sale group on Facebook - that is a good place to start! Also some makers that have good pans that seem possible to obtain by signing up for the email list include Nirvana Handpan and Axiom.
