The thing about Rob Zombie (whether solo or with White Zombie) is his songs are heavily influenced by the retro, sci fi, and horror genres. He is a huge fan of the low "B" rated style movies and shows, which is what he puts into his music and music videos. That's why they are the way they are, it's him putting his love for that "B" rated retro, sci fi, horror style into his music.

House of 1000 Corpses isn't the prequel to The Devil's Rejects. House of 1000 Corpses came first, The Devil's Rejects is the sequel to House of 1000 Corpses. A prequel is a movie that comes out after the original and gives back story for the original.

Here's a fun fact; in Pretty Woman, near the beginning, when 'Vivian' went into the Blue Banana looking for her room-mate to find out what happened to the rent, Rob Zombie was the front man for the band on stage. I think his biggest hit with White Zombie was Thunder Kiss '65, which at the time was pretty awesome (ruclips.net/video/yPNFVj-pISU/видео.html ). This was happening at the same time as Ministry etc.; but his stage act in Pretty Woman where they were pretty much doing this already (but weren't a known band yet) shows he was ahead of the curve.

You guys are right! It's totally a disco type beat going on.
That was a popular trope in late 90s industrial metal. Manson did it a lot on Mechanical Animals. Dope Show for sure.
Also...you gotta give Rob Zombie props for making an entire career off of ONE chord. With maybe a flat 7 or minor 3 thrown in to keep you on your toes. But man....it's hilarious how MONOTONE his stuff is. And yet....it works! It's dark gothic industrial dance music for goths, both practicing and retired. ;D

Rob Zombies has released seven top 10 albums in the past 25 years - most bands from the 90s have been unable to maintain that kind of long term career.
