Stay away from Ford. They love you till you sign the paperwork. I’m happy to share the way they left me with a 5000lb boat anchor!

Would be nice if the current lineup of Ford's had more diesels like the foreign markets do especially since Ford doesn't have any regular cars in America anymore. Diesel hybrids would also be nice especially for SUVs. It's time American auto manufacturers get serious about emissions and fuel economy at the same time and diesel has always been the way. B20 and B100 diesel fuels also exist and normal diesels can run that. B20 is 20% ethanol and B100 is all ethanol and botb kinds of fuel have been around for a long time and people can make their own as well but sadly American auto manufacturers continue to ignore diesel. Dieselgate was a complete scam and foreign brands that sold diesel cars, SUVs and station wagons but only Volkswagen was targeted but due to the fallout and misinformation other foreign brands pulled their diesels. I'm all for hybrid and electric vehicles being options since hybrids and EV's were even built over a century ago along with vehicles that ran on biofuel including biodiesel and even Henry Ford (not a fan of the guy at all he was antisemite) but I agreed about the hemp biofuel initiative since biofuel was already a thing for a while.
With the 25 year rule still in use American's that want to buy diesel vehicles from foreign markets (including myself) will have to wait 25 years to buy it. Weird that people will have to wait until the 2050's to import something like that and vehicles will be completely different then but at least hybrids should still exist they count as EV's even though EV enthusiasts want only electric but almost the entire nation is rural and it'll take over two centuries at least for at least 3/4 of the population to go EV. I'd hate to have to wait until I'm an old man to import what is currently an affordable diesel car in Europe and it's called the Puma. It would be so expensive in the 2050's to get that car so the smart thing to do is get that 25 year rule repealed and American auto manufacturers should at least give the option for people to put diesels in their vehicles even if they have to special order. Mercedes Benz was the sole auto manufacturer that lobbied for the 25 year rule and they are a German company, how embarrassing.
