The amount of work they've done is styling, design and the aerodynamics is incredible and the sound is a work of tremendous art ! Definitely the only car that has never depriciated its reputation of being one of the best V8's ever.

Too bad you guys won't make some sort of modern day Ford Galaxie 2 door hardtop muscle car.
Blame American consumers. Brands sell what sells. It costs hundreds of millions, usually billions of dollars to develop any new car. Keep that in mind when proposing niche models.
That's exactly what an additional muscle car would be. The mustang is amazing, the standard of the muscle car world, the best selling sports car in the world, and it still only sells about 50k units a year.
Now think about how few galaxies Ford would sell. Maybe 10 or 20k a year? So you're investing a billion dollars in a program, but you're only selling 20k cars a year at most.
Which means you'd have to jack up the price. That's simple economics. If you're trying to create a sustainable business, you either need to sell lots of something with slimmer profit margins, or fewer units at a higher price to boost your per unit profits. High volume and high profit rarely happens.

As for the 4-door Mustang, it can retain the current D2C platform, albeit with a longer wheelbase. This is proven by the fact that the Interceptor concept from 2007 was like that. So if Ford wants a 4-door sedan, they already have the platform for it. It can act as a replacement for the Crown Vic here in North America and the Falcon over in Australia and New Zealand.
