Pioneer primary is a lot of fun! Have a full team of pioneer primaries and they will just run all over the place ahead of you, to the side, lag behind. Makes them feel more independent and do their own thing instead of always being leashed to within 8 metres of you. Downside is it works better for comfortable content instead of challenging content, because the pawns will tend to be alone and away from you and each other more frequently, and can get into trouble with challenging content. For comfortable content it's super fun to just let them go wild.
I just want to comment and let you know that I appreciate you uploading Dragon's Dogma content! I've been pretty disillusioned with gaming recently. Going back to DD has been a blast because it's such a great game with a real identity that is just fun. No agenda, no bull, just pure fun. Keep up the great work, brother!
I get the inclination system now, and it's cool on paper. But when i jump head on to the big boss, I want my assist pawn to heal me and take care of the fodder... Not jump onto the big dude with me 😅
I agree with you on this one. As cool as it sounds to teach a pawn, I want my pawn to take a specific role in the party instead of being an exact copy of me.
Have been playing this for 60 hours and have no idea of what inclinations does. Now i understand why my pawn not do the job as i intended. Thank you for this guide. It help me alot to fix my pawn who have looting habit. Also sorry for bad english.

0:42. The answer I would pick is rescue comrades in danger. I am sure in the Dragon's Dogma Netflix Anime, that was what Ethan's pawn did. Even if I know the pawn's actions won't match to the Neftflix Anime, I still like to reference it. In Netflix Anime, the whole storyline of Dragon's Dogma is not the same as the game but the idea itself shows. For example, in the Neflix Anime, Hannah was considered to be Ethan's first pawn and main pawn. The way how that arisen Ethan puts himself in danger on purpose to let the Griffin grab him, Hannah came to Ethan's rescue immediately. That right there tells me that Hannah did rescue her arisen who is in danger. I know in the game, any player who starts at level 1 cannot be in position to act as a decoy because it will automatically be a game over and pawns do not go to the arisen's aid right away. Sometimes the pawn will promise I am coming and only watch the arisen suffer. By watching Netflix Anime, I would say Ethan must of started out from around level 50 because Ethan was able to let himself get attacked on purpose and have his pawn to come to a rescue and if we copied that idea in the game, it is game over if the arisen is on low level. Pawns are normally not built to do team work compared to the anime netflix because pawns are built as a dumb AI.
Thanks for the vid man. I'm not an expert when it comes to all the minutiae in this game like some people are. But I love the shit out of it. This is my go to time waster fun game. I really hope we get a worthy sequel some time soon. Edited for my poor typing.

In short, NEVER get Pawns with Nexus or Guardian. They are useless inclinations on most situations =B Or at least, i always got that since i devoured the Wiki >D
i like guardian on a fighter pawn whenever i play sorcerer. and nexus can be good if you want to play a supporter and let your pawns do the heavy lifting.
@@dugarrYT It's very situational, but normally i dismiss guardian a lot XP It's fun to play as Mage supporter with MK augments that reinforces Pawns, though >D
Why do you use multiple doses of the same elixir? I understand it raises your pawn's inclinations higher, but is there any difference in performance between a primary scather at 20% inclination vs a primary scather at 100% inclination? Won't they both just behave like scathers regardless?
ingame you have a hidden value for each inclination. and every time your pawn "learns" something those values are changed. by taking mentioned amounts of potions you position your inclinations at 100%; 75%; 50%. so the next your pawn "learns" something the inclinations stay the way you wanted and not immediately change again.
Are the changes made from using potions permanent or will traveling with other pawns still change my pawns inclination? Also, I always pick up everything I can so will my pawns always adapt the Acquisitor as its primary inclination?
@@dugarrYT Okay, good to know. Good thing those potions are pretty cheap! Thanks Dugarr and keep up the good work sir. Your efforts are much appreciated!

they get the base and advanced vocations, but not the hybrids. or in short, the first six as soon as you get to gran soren.

Why does my pawn inclination keep changing after I fixed it ?
the pawn constantly learns from you. and changes his behaviour to match yours.

Also, I always pick up everything I can so will my pawns always adapt the Acquisitor as its primary inclination?
