lots of issue like forced closed, a few bug, perfomance drop, menu loading and engaging battle takes longer time, this game need fix patch for switch, and I'll be waiting until it's perfect.
Hopefully the physical version comes with the patches installed.

Heard the frame rates aren't optimal from SwitchUp, so hoping patches fix it up because this game looks cool. Will definitely pick up in the future.

Shame this game is a buggy mess on switch
Switch is underpowered and past its prime. The only thing it's good for other than first-party exclusives are visual novels and indie games. If Switch 2 isn't on the same level as Steam Deck, Nintendo's gonna be in trouble.

underpowered or not, the Switch can be used everywhere and blackouts won't ruin the experience
@@abrahamlupis9354 Don't be a fanboy. I own every modern console, so I know for a fact that Xbox One / Series X and PS4/PS5 are infinitely superior to Switch in terms of performance. I only say this because I want Nintendo to do better. They have been lagging behind the competition for a long time. Steam Deck took what made Switch unique and made it better. Switch 2 absolutely has to step up if Nintendo wishes to compete with the current technology.
Its finally time for me to make my promise to the director! I might get the physical when its avail (next month)?

I personally didn’t find them to be disastrous or too offensive to play but I don’t know the lore at all

Let's say if you want to experience the localizers fanfiction insted of the original writer's vision and you like it when people in fiction say things and sentences no one ever said before and no one would ever use in a normal conversation ever, it's perfect.
SOUNDTRACK IS A BANGER, story looks very intriguing, gameplay is interesting, OUTRAGEOUS amount if characters to connect with..Oh' yeah that indeed is a purchase.
Definitely going to play this for my trip to Japan 🇯🇵🖤!

Waiting for the patch so this Game is actually playable on switch
I backed this game but something happened when I did the survey and something with my mail got messed up so I still backed it, took my money but I got 0 of the stuff from the backer tier I chose :D fun! Similar thing happened when I backed Bloodstained but I finally got my copy after long delay (chose the switch version which was a BIG mistake)
Going to pick this yp eventually. However, i think the Switch will be my pet project.

If you count the translators replacing almost every single sentence with cringe dialogue no body uses, then yes. It is mistranslated to the extreme.

The translation really botched i put on english language with Japanese subtitles and they were not using English words for the Japanese subtitles but there own words
That’s what a localisation is though 🤷♂️ very rarely do games have direct translations.
I’ll wait for a patch, otherwise I’m good. Nothing annoys me more than a game that isn’t optimized.
And the translation better be fixed.

I have loved the Suikoden series since I was young but the mixed review for this game made me pause my purchase decision
Regardless, I hope the performance issues/bugs/glitch gets fixed soon so that I can dive yet into another fantasy game

Brian Gray is the corrupted localizer who’s responsible for messing up the game developed by Rabbit and Bear Studios and published by 505 Studios.
Osamu Komuta is responsible for bringing that corrupted localizer into their project,
So for all the damage,
They must be punished.
I wonder what would we should do to Osamu Komuta and every employee working at Rabbit and Bear Studios and 505 Studios instead of pirating,
We need to think of something forceful to teach ‘em a lesson to make sure they listen to the fans.

biggest letdown of the decade tbh
Horrible american localization I can't even bypass by playing it in german, as that is a direct translation of the american script, not acceptable, I cancelled my pre-order.
So not because it is a buggy mess and crashes
@@mikeuk666 That's more likely to be fixed than completey redoing the translations, while that has happened before with Ys VIII, which was another very bad localization that was completely redone, including the voice acting, I don't see it happening here.

Yeah it's a shame. I was looking forward to this.
The worst is that they gave the already badly localized american script to the european translators, in the past it was often possible to avoid bad american localization for me when a game was also translated into german, which was often done from japanese, sad it's not the case here. It IS a 1 to 1 translation, from the american script, I cancelled my pre-order.

One major thing is that it was given to a team who has on record stated that they would cut, change or rewrite scenes thet find "problematic"
For example
For some reason they added a line about assuming a golem's gender
And then calling a character a "chud" which I didnt know what that even was until just recently cause apparently it's slang it's only used in very specific online communities
Bad translation do not buy!

It's terrible that Nintendo allows games to be released in almost unfinished state and poorly optimized on their own platform. For shame, cancelling my pre-order.
