If you look at all the Orchust, World Legacy, Crusadia, Mekk-Knight, Krawler , Knightmares and now Gaurddragon cards. They all seem to share a connecting story within the drawings of those cards. I wouldn’t call it lore however. That’s just me.
@Killian CARRE savage only 20 bucks. Seryuja before the buyout was ten bucks. And borreload was 18 bucks on mega tin release. That not expensive at all.
saryuja is mandatory since its part of the main combo but the deck is still playable withour borelload/sword/savage. you can play almost anything you want in the extra deck since equimax is able to otk by himself.
Been working on making a gaurdragon & dragunity deck, nicknamed it the guardragunity, mostly just guardragons with a dux engine. It uses red dragon archfiend synchros and Crystal wing and when the new blue eyes ultimate comes out planning on using it. Don't know how competitively viable it is, especially cuz I made it as cheap as possible, but been pretty good on YGOPRO.
pretty nice deck profile i was telling myself df does he do if he bricks and boom he just said his loss was a brick XD in all honesty though i understand the saryuja gameciel waterfront mechanic 2 negate that banishes and the inability to kaiju a kaiju is pretty strong still if i was to play the deck i would have gotten rid waterfront for slumber and extenders mainly
Why wouldn't you sub terraforming in for a waterfront? That way, you won't be drawing multiples as much. The only downside I see is the terraforming getting ash blossomed, but I think it's worth it.
you literally just answered your own question, this deck loses to handtraps hard enough, and its just stuff to shuffle back with saryuja in the end anyway

What about Majestic Star Dragon? I.E. an omni-negate that also wipes the opponent's board COMPLETELY? Or does that not work even though you don't put Stardust in the GY so the last effect resolves with nothing happening?
in this comment section: keyboard warriors everywhere lul a few things I missed in the deck profile that may or may not be relevant -rescue cat + reclusia/leonis makes borrel savage as well. still probably cutting it in future builds. -ultra budget players can replace imperm with veiler, since it basically does the same thing (only sided in the hand traps for ftks and combo decks, so the advantages imperm provides over veiler aren’t that relevant. you can also replace borrelsword with borreload, and while this does make otks *slightly* harder going 2nd, it does help to an extent vs thunder dragons. -probably would replace the rescue cat package with the rokket synchron package instead (3x quick launch, 1-2 rokket synchron) since it’s another extender that opens up more synchro plays. currently testing atm. this may or may not involve making a third saryuja.
@@bbvader18 the 2nd magius is your follow up if they break your board, since equimax needs at least 1 link monster and your deck is full of normal summons without a link 1. it did come up a few games, to the point where I wouldn't even consider dropping it. as for rda abyss vs crystal wing, crystal wing has coverage that abyss lacks (thunder dragons, dangers, pankratops, other random stuff idk, also being able to resolve reactively in dmg step which hits stuff like matrix, raye, meluseek, etc.) which imo is more useful in the current meta, especially when I can consistently get out 2-3 omni-negates anyway, meaning the gaps in crystal wing's coverage aren't as noticeable. there are also some weird interactions involving targeting negation that doesn't help its case either. that said, it's purely a meta call, and if the danger engine falls out of favour (read: gets the dragon ruler treatment) then i'd probably move to abyss.
It's good to negate spells... and even more to negate traps since Altergeists are a bad match-up for this deck, but I still prefer to kill a Danger! or a Dragonhawk in hand. The best though may be to put it instead of Savage, since he said is pretty situational (and as a player of that deck myself, I agree), so you still get to choose and don't waste side deck space.

Emm..I’m not really like putting rescue cat in this deck. Cuz if you got a handtrap from your opponent you will like dam! Rescue cat is not a crusadia monster.
Great extender, but not a starter. So it might make you brick, since he's also playing Waterfront. I play a very similar version so I think this is the reason.
@@rayanr307 Kyoutou is a power play (2+ negations and inherent Kaiju protection in 1 Gameciel) but may make you brick more than a Destrudo. So, I prefer playing Kyoutou, but it depends on whether you want to risk your consistency for it or not.
@@rayanr307 I should try that to say if it works (still experimenting with different builds at the moment) but yes, the overall deck might be more consistent, you will summon Gameciel less often though
the crusadia link engine is so tiny that I think there should be another larger engine that could make this deck even better. I get the idea for water front and rescue cat, but theres gotta be something else that works as an extender but also a starter if for some reason you dont start 2 crusadias

@@Rapatto Not that I know of, but people directly made mixes with the new set Savage Strike and went ahead and competed with a new version. So you probably didnt see many of those. Nontheless, once people realize both variants are crazy good, people will play more Kaiju and Mekk variant, especially since its getting a new Mekk Link 4 rating soon.

Your main strategy is to sit on gameciel with 2 negates because of waterfront, you cant really cut it

This is not a meta deck and neither is blue eyes. They're both rogue decks and this one is more successful.
I'd probably swap the crystal wing for RDA Abyss since it can just negate anything as long as it is on field.
Abyss is weaker against Thunder Dragons, they trigger anywhere but on field. In other match ups Abyss is better, so I guess player's choice.

With gumblar and rhongo and most ftks gone the game is much more back and forth gameplay and turn wise

Rescue cat will special elephun/valerifawn(if you use it), and leonis which is a 1-card nat beast.
