i just do it because im highly fidgety, and i need something to fidget with to concentrate properly, so it just helps me. that might be the way with a few other people, but the other reason is it helps conceal the hand, as if you see something get added, you lose track of where it is. then everybody who wants to play meta copies this behaviour
At 5:20 after Guardragon Pisty allows Red Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon to be Special Summoned from the Banished Zone, how is the player allowed to use Red Eyes Darkness Metal Dragons effect to Special Summon 1 Dragon type monster (Crusadia Draco) from his Graveyard? Red Eyes clearly states on the card “Once per turn:” even though Cimo says it isn’t a hard once per turn... just wondering how he got the Crusadia Draco back out on the field. Sorry coming back to the game after a long hiatus. Trying to understand since I just built Guardragon Crusadias.
I would also like to point out that at the 19:08 mark skystriker player also cheated. He wasn't supposed to be able to special summon the raye off area zero being he was in control of elpy which states only dragon monsters can be special summoned which raye is not.
Once per turn, during either player's turn, when another monster's effect is activated: You can negate the activation, and if you do, destroy that monster, and if you do that, this card gains ATK equal to the destroyed monster's original ATK until the end of this turn. If this card battles a Level 5 or higher monster your opponent controls, during damage calculation: This card gains ATK equal to the current ATK of the opponent's monster it is battling during that damage calculation only.
Haha. Gets cocky and goes off quickly after Kaiju, only to get dreams crushed by solemn. Then slamming and flicking cards later on. The little salt made my popcorn much more satisfying.
Why do people call decks like Striker and Salamangreat "fair" when they have that much recursion and negates in form of roar\strikes and 10+ Handtraps?
They are more "fair" because you generally can respond to their ending boards. They are really consistent decks, but the power ceiling is much lower as a result. For example, the guardragon player put two negates and over 8k damage on it's end board, admittedly he didn't manage to win, but usually that's enough to win. The sky striker player had a couple negates each turn but never had more than 2k damage each turn (apart from the dogoran and borrelsword). Similarly, salamangreats will nearly always end on two negates and a weak link monster that can survive one battle. On top of that, both crusadia and SS can have all their negates turned off by being kaiju'd as both decks have interruption dependent on specific boards (Salamangreats need one of their links to use roar, sky strikers can't have a monster in the main monster zone).
@@KingFabz I'd be gone with those decks if they didn't have the room for so many Handtraps floodgates or strikes. Decks like Cyber Dragon, BA and similar simply dont have small enough consistent engines to pull that off. I find the consistency of Striker and Salamangreat too strong as well as their small engines
Anybody else note how bad the crusading guardragon player was? He was literally playing wack-a-mole with his negates and didn’t see that hamate was summoned to main monster zone. If he let the guy send engage he could have stopped Kagari and prevented Shizuku from searching engage during ep anyways.
