I'm back from the winter break. ;-)
Being not only a big fan of the DC superhero movies, but also all of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, I created this arrangement based on the very memorable Main Theme from the "The Avengers" soundtrack composed by the great film composer Alan Silvestri.
In this video I have combined my live piano playing with the visualization of the music material by programming my own "Synthesia"-like software. I have created a new visual effect that highlights important music notes, especially the melody (these notes have an additional glow effect). The best way to enjoy it is to watch it on a big screen.

Hey Patrik you seems to know how to play piano 😜 I have a few (hopefully not too stupid) questions.
First of all I want to know about music theory. These chords and note you take for this composition. I think you get them by hearing. But when do you know, if you have to take one, two or three notes at the same time? Is it just by feeling or how do I learn to get "good" keys
And last but not least: When can I say, that I can play piano? Isn't like that I have to learn every single new song over? So when do I really know playig piano?

He is playing and recorded the midi and in editing he reversed the midi visual and set at the timing matches with his fingers. And this look like he is playing on the fallen key.

what amazes me is the power's accuracy he does on the main melody notes while slowing the support notes, this is really hard you need to have perfect control of every muscles of your both hands.
This is particulary well done on imitation game and man of steel
It amazes me too. Especially at parts such as 0:26, he's able to play the support notes while splicing in those main notes. How he plays like that is really amazing, he's got some awesome coordination.
indeed, i see lot of people playing lot of good songs, but they play it like, wrong. There is no "melodyline" and they just bash the notes one by one. So basically they can play the song and chain the notes, but they don't put the "emotions" of the song, so it sounds flat. That's the big difference between a good pianist and a random one, and Mr Pietschmann really looks like a good one.
But it's a video, so he could make lot of runs to make it perfect. I'm really wondering what it would look like on a first try :)
