I'm back from the winter break. ;-)
Being not only a big fan of the DC superhero movies, but also all of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, I created this arrangement based on the very memorable Main Theme from the "The Avengers" soundtrack composed by the great film composer Alan Silvestri.
In this video I have combined my live piano playing with the visualization of the music material by programming my own "Synthesia"-like software. I have created a new visual effect that highlights important music notes, especially the melody (these notes have an additional glow effect). The best way to enjoy it is to watch it on a big screen.

Hey Patrik you seems to know how to play piano 😜 I have a few (hopefully not too stupid) questions.
First of all I want to know about music theory. These chords and note you take for this composition. I think you get them by hearing. But when do you know, if you have to take one, two or three notes at the same time? Is it just by feeling or how do I learn to get "good" keys
And last but not least: When can I say, that I can play piano? Isn't like that I have to learn every single new song over? So when do I really know playig piano?

As someone who plays the piano, I cannot believe how ONE PERSON played a song that's usually played by an orchestra on one piano
That's what the piano was made for, mate. That's why it has so many keys and so much space to put BOTH of your hands. (And feet, if you are extra advanced 🤣)

I don’t think anyone really understands how hard this was to play...he played a song that should be played in an entire orchestra on a piano.... that was ridiculously cool
Not a lot of people see that. All they see is some colors going into a piano. He did a great job an the arrangement. Although I think when the main theme strikes it is a little bit underwhelming but thats probably because you don't have a whole orchestra blasting the theme. This is great either way. In other arrangements people who tried to put more emphasis on the iconic theme just sound like some music school students how just learned how to play arpeggios flawlessly.
After 10 years of playing piano i can clearly say that his fingers are the orchestra xD

Well it’s not that hard comparing to Liszt and Rachmaninov style piano pieces. Sure the arpeggios and chords are a bit complicated but it’s nothing to Liszt.
