Yo Vince this is actually so fire I love how you described these fanon designs with the rock metaphor, art has and always will be derivative in some way, whether it be seeing the potential a pile of rocks and telling an entire story about them, making Tumblr sexymen out of what are essentially a bunch of bowling pin characters, creating a sculpture based on someone you randomly saw in the park, writing music based on your own life stories, all sorts of things. People always take something and craft a brand new experience out of it, and that’s what art is all about. And yeah, a lack of resources can totally lead to being creative ideas. People want to create whatever they want to, and don’t like being told they’re restricted from doing a certain thing with their art. So often times, they’ll take their limits and make the most of them, which leads to being even more creative. I hope more people watch this video and realize that they, too, can be creative enough to make horrible flesh cube.
