He stopped 91% of the shots he faced last year. This year, he steals the number one spot from Montambault. Sorry to burst your bubble. Also, they will win 10 games more this year. Watch and see
Примо и в прошлом сезоне показывал хорошую игру. А если в этом сезоне он будет так же играть, как сегодня, то он явный кандидат в выдающуюся когорту вратарей Хабс.
Actually, Montreal was one of the best team in term of least allowed goal as expected. The only goalie who had bad stats last year was actually Allen, both Monty and Primeau had respectable save % and GAA considering where MTL finished. If they can play like they did last year, AND Dobes cooks well, with further improvement from the team, MTL could actually steal a series' spot.
it is so good to see many young players doing so good, many of them will go back to Laval but at least we will have excellent back up during season if some Habs players are getting injured. Hutson is crazy good, I hope he will find a way to play so well even when the game will become much more physical.
Heineman, Kapanen, Hutson looked great. Hope Laine will be happy and satisfied cuz he is shooting machine. He looked good to. I also like Roy, he plays straightforward and great. Excited for the season, so many great players.
@@RochelGermain Kapanen is definitely the future but there's no need to rush things out with him. I'd be totally ok with him getting first line + PP XP in the SHL for a year (style of play in SHL has more similarities to the NHL than Liiga). Plus this line staying as is and doing well would boost Dvorak's value for a potential trade before the end of his contract.
and you won't see anymore either..!!!..it's all over in montreal..!!!...after what they did to Roy and Lafleur they don't deserve any more Cups..!!!!!!

@@RoamHockey if you guys don’t progress or make the playoffs this year despite the team you have, I’d offer this; Montreal 1st round pick for 2025 (top 3 protected) + Columbus 2nd round pick 2025
Even though Laine didnt score he was an instant threat on the pp and I thought played great. Kirby looked good considering he hasnt played in a year, and the Kapenen line was great with oliver leading the way. Hutson obviously unbelievable offensively still needs alot of work in his own end tho, but his offense more then makes up for it. Mailloux didnt have his best game and I still thought he looked better then Barron.
At first period he had a shot in pp that goes in quite often. I think there was still some rust in his skating because long pause from not playing but looked quite good. Newhook and Laine could bring a lot of goals if they get it going.
They say, give them a couple of years! They have a ton of firepower, if the defense and goaltending hold up, I wouldn't be surprised to see a cup run this year!!!
Kapanen is a stud, hope he makes the team.

I completely agree with you
I watched him play last season in Finland and IIHF, I knew people will like him.
Habs need to trade Dvo before the season start and make place to Kapanen
Wow, méchante bonne game! Même si c'est juste un match préparatoire, ça augure bien pour les jeunes
on va avoir une bonne saison
Montreal's preseason game sounds like some teams playoff games😂

the passion my god. I wish i paid attention in french lol
Habs fans love hockey alot lol
We may not have the most fans, but we have the best fans. Easily the most passionate in the league

Love it when Savvy puts one in. Darts in from the blue suddenly, makes a play and lights it up.
I'm liking that Roy - Dvorak - Anderson line, I can see it being a steady good one this season.

I am glad Montreal dominated, it was very encouraging. However, I don't want to get too excited, because that Flyer lineup looked pretty weak
It was mostly domination when the goalie change happened... 4/5 goals were against Peterson that let 4/12 shots in.
