      Thank you, Daniel! You are very kind. To be honest, it’s quite amateurish as well as it’s all filmed and edited on a mobile phone. The sound in some parts is pretty awful! However, we have a lot of fun doing what we’re doing and we’ll keep improving over time.

    Love the video. Heading to Helsinki this Xmas. Just wanted to ask if you booked to have a private sauna session at Loyly? I want to film the experience but don’t want to bring my camera in if there’s others in there possibly naked 😂 😂

    2:21 Why is it dangerous to have too much of a contrast in temperature sauna to outside temperature?is it cardiac reasons

      If you have a heart problem then it might not be the best idea, but otherwise not a problem, especially if you are used to it.

      yea i've went from +130c sauna to -30c outside buck naked. still alive. over here in finland every doctor tells you it's good for you.

      @@moonliteX not for diabetics. the shock of cold --->epinephrine cortisol release ---> sugar levels rise sky high ---> insulin release sometimes massive --->hypoglycemic shock (emergency). happens to me often, less so now that I have a CGM and can track levels

    • @adamrangdotcom
      @adamrangdotcom  3 года назад +5

      We tend to say no arguing. In fact, the older tradition is to never argue even on the day of the sauna. I guess if a group of friends are talking constructively than no topic is out of bounds. :)

    The Finnish word for the stoves is Kiuas. Very sad to see that even the makers of kiaus´s dont have the guts to use it on their english website.

    • @adamrangdotcom
      @adamrangdotcom  3 года назад +1

      Funnily enough, ‘stove’ was originally the old English word for a steam bath before it became associated with cooking. So there’s been quite a bit of language exchange although we always support teaching our own languages to international audiences.
