22 IS early compared to people born in the '60s, '70s. and '80s, who are well into middle age and _still_ on waiting lists. You're extremely lucky to have such a long time ahead of you. Some of us succumb to the reduced life expectancy before ever getting treatment. It's tragic how many lives are wasted. Make the most of it!

@@M2Mil7er I agree absolutely! I just said it because if one is diagnosed in late adolescence or adulthood it’s considered “late diagnosis” but you’re right there are too many people that are diagnosed too late or never and I am lucky that I could have the clarity this early in life! Thank you for the encouraging comment. ☀️

I wish i would've gotten diagnosed sooner. I'm in my early 30s and just now got diagnosed. I got on ADHD meds and what a game changer it's been. It really does affect your life more then you think.

@@coltenkelso5764 I feel the same way I felt a little bit disappointed that I couldn’t have this when I was younger or in school and I often wonder what parts of my life would be different if I did get diagnosed earlier. Regardless I think everything happens for a reason but I understand you totally!

Just got diagnosed with ADHD last Thursday and getting my medication tomorrow had mixed emotions about as I wish was tested when I was younger and took all until my adulthood to get tested thank you for sharing this as it really helps me to know to what to expect from the medication

Of course! How is the medication working out for you? Mine has been working good de only downside I've noticed is that I feel a little odd and irritated after 10 hours when it is wearing out.

Thanks for a great video. It was a good video Miss. I understand how you're feeling with ADHD, it's exactly how I feel as well. I just got the diagnose and will start treatment very soon. I'm so nervous for the meds

@@progressiveGREEN You can stop taking them anytime. I was super nervous too! Like extremely because I didn’t know what to expect but it’s not as bad as you think!!!

@@SainiTaveras I’m actually pretty happy to hear that, I have no experience regarding meds, I try to stay away from any meds. What is the meds you are using and do you think it’s worth it? Btw thank you for taking the time to respond ☺️💪🏼

@ Of course! I am using Concerta. I have heard that Concerta is not the best choice so if I could go back I might choose some other brand, Concerta has been working quite well when it comes to focus but I think other meds maybe wouldn’t have as many side effects personally. Again I don’t know for sure. I am not taking them daily, the most annoying side effect is heart beat changes!! 😬 it’s not like bad bad but I can notice that sometimes

I think you totally should! Getting diagnosed to at least know it, already helps combat the bad habits that come with ADHD because you understand why and where they come from. You don’t have to go on medication if you don’t want to of course! Thank you for this comment, I really appreciate it. 😊 I hope everything goes well for you. 🙏🏽
