Thanks for asking the manufacturers. They know their products best.

i live in Northern CA where it is dry so this is never an issue for me, but interesting idea that brushes may dry better standing on their handle. thanks for posting.

I never thought about it. But standing on the handle makes sense. Thanks for the info!

That whole thing thing with hanging your brush upside down worked years ago…the knots were 16-22mm, so anything you did it would dry quickly. Give it a couple of good shakes and then rub it on your towel for a bit…done deal. You should be able to use it every other day, though I wait two days (standing up as in the video)…happy shaving ladies and gents. YMMV

I've always dried my brushes whether it be badger or synthetic stood on their bases and I've never had a problem. I hear so many people say that you must hang them bristles down but as you rightly say, moisture rises.

I’ve seriously been back and forth for the past month with myself trying to decide if I should hang, or just stand via handle to dry. I always get such a mixed review as to what is better for the brush overall in terms of drying. My natural hair brushes do seem to dry relatively fine hanging but because of hearing you say that manufactures recommend letting them stand up to dry I’m going to give that a go from now on. Cheers, and thanks for sharing this!

Excellent! Thanks for the tip, I will try this. My stand allows me to also turn the brush up.

That is a great tip. Too bad for me that my brushes only fit in my stands upside down.

Well instead of shaking out your brush out and hanging it upside down, rub it on a towel vigorously like you’re lathering and it dries it in no time
