  • It's been a while since I uploaded anything but I finally managed to get a kit built Takom's amazing Mk.IV . After I finished the half built Hawker Hunter I thought I'd head back to WWI and add another Mk.IV to the collection this time however it was a 'female' version which had .303 Lewis machine guns in the sponsons instead of 6 pdr guns.

Wow, a masterpiece. Great build and love the diorama. I have a Mk IV Male to complete and a trench kit to make a diorama that was inspired by the film 1917.
    Keep up the great work.

Very nice! The detailing was just amazing. You put my version to complete shame (as usual). Just love your work! The diorama turned out amazing as well. Sometimes simple is best, and with the details you included it was still awesome. Great video!

I bought the Takon mk4 special edition version it says on the box with the box art with the mk1 camo art they used then thought no point putting bits of art on them as just covered in mud all the time! It's the male and female kit you get a choice! Iv not started it yet building the Bofors anti aircraft gun British version with British troops from Bronco! Beautiful kit! I don't know what to build the male of the female yet! Maybe go with the male as alot of females and the sponsons have the 6 pundr and a Lewis gun in each side, and Marie on the front with skull and crossbones! The ironic thing is I only notice this name on the front the other night I just grabbed it from my local hobby shop as he doesn't get alot of them in, it's the first iv seen in 8 months in the shop! But I couldn't believe what it said on the front talk about ironic that's my exs name iv not long split from hahaha! I noticed it on the box art the other night and had it for about a week sitting here! Lol

Really super build and great weather job. I have the Male kit in my stash to build, I would have like to watch you build the tracks. I've only done a couple of tank kits with individual track links. Again great job and thanks.

Great build. I hated building mine, took an age. It was so fiddly and difficult. the tracks were a nightmare.

just finished constructing this takom tank myself, to be honest i'm not impressed with the fit of parts (male) side sponsons were the worst, also at the rear i had to trim off some bolt detail to get the sides on properly. i've also got the mk1 to do, i don't think i'll bother. i wished i'd spent the extra and bought a tamiya kit instead.

I never thought of that actually, I wonder if the Germans too the tracks off while it was being repainted and if it was still the BS Brown colour under the track'

Must have been a challenge building with latex gloves on too! Is this normally the way you build or is it because of Covid 19 at this time?
