Don’t need a third row. Need more space for gear. You want a third row get a TX. Did any one see the Quatar Land Cruiser reveal? Hate to say it but the styling slightly beats the 550 and I saw 2 rows.
You're wrong. Many families have more than 5 people, and having both a 2 and 3 row option on the Overtrail would pull in many more customers to Lexus wanting that "do it all" family and off-road vehicle. And if you look closely the 2 row overtrail still has the 3rd row cup holders on the side anyway. Currently lexus is forcing customers to choose one or the other. Lexus is making a mistake here, and if they don't fix it soon they will lose a lot of potential family customers who are looking for a luxury suv. Lexus made a similar mistake with the TX by limiting seating options to only 6 seats in most trims of their "largest family suv" and giving it a lousy 4 cylinder. The people making these decisions at Lexus are clueless, lol..

Doesn’t look like someone 6’ could sleep in the back without removing the 2nd row correct? Also curious if the Overland roof rack allows for higher dynamic load capacity for RTTs.
2nd row should tuck flat, like in the Premium at 1:28, but I did not fold down the Overtrail. Sorry none of the info we have shows the RTT limit, they are not in production yet, so that could be in the works. Good question, Ill try and get back you when I find out. eKDDS keeps it from driving like a truck, Overtrail wheels do make some noise, for best road drive you would want a premium or Lux edition.
