    He is Exactly right about what he is telling you when you're new it's gonna be hard that's why it is a high turnover rate and trucking You have it more easier now with electronics than we had back in the day when I first started only thing I had was a beeper😎

    5 pros would be great as well as how to manage family life while on the road as you mentioned. Both would be much appreciated. God bless

    the fatigue only sucked during training. i felt obligated not to pull over except for our 30 minute lunch break, fuel and restrooms usage. Running out my 11 hour drive time being sleep deprived almost broke me. im never doing team driving....EVER! i didnt know i could pull over to the next reststop for a 30 minute nap and finish the last few hours of my shift easily when i went solo.

    Hey brother, I've looked and I can't find anything you wrote stating why you left Schneider tanker division. Was it the pay or something else?

      Believe it or not it wasn’t the money, I’ll definitely drop a video covering that very soon. It was an issue that I had with them regarding my particular situation but I’ll definitely make a video about that

      Whoooweee! I’ve been solo for going on my second week right out of CDL school! This 11/14 clock is no joke!!! I’m so exhausted today!!! Last night was my first time working until 2am. I had over 6 hours left on my 14 hour clock BUT I was exhausted so I pulled over at an empty QT (not for trucks) and slept and tossed and turned for 3 hours. I had the bright idea to “go look for a quieter safe haven and as soon as I pulled out went into violation because I had 3 hours left in sleeper berth to ride out. At the light I put myself into personal conveyance and like a zombie found a quiet place up the street. Now I have to be here for 10 hours which is up at 8pm😅. Luckily I don’t have to be in Michigan for another two days (13 hours away) but my goodness! This will NEVER happen again. I should have bit the bullet and stayed that 3 hours. A sister was just trying to sleep gooder…lol! I don’t know how this will all shake out but I have to do better with my trip planning. Thanks for a great and honest video.

    If OTR, can you bring your GF with you to ride along? Or is that not allowed/not professional?

    • @_GR2
      @_GR2  3 месяца назад

      Generally speaking, you should be able to. Every company is different and has a different rider policy but whichever company you are interested in, ask them what their rider policy is and they will let you know. Majority of the time though when you are OTR you should be good.
