How long has there been a verification issue with the wellinglure site.. i am interested but cant get thru the site safety issues. Let user know, looks good..... 7/11/22
You would be able to make model for the weight heads and include reservation for hook shank with e.g. hole object(s), make cavities to insert eye stickers etc. There are some restrictions for head shape as system supports simple molds without too concave structure. You would also be able to order master pieces as 3D prints, which you could assemble if needed and make your own silicone molds. For jig skirts we do not have design support. Creature style tails, fish shapes etc. are possible with that same mentioned limitation for concave forms.
Good Software and everything but it's frozen for me, I don't why, I have a brand new laptop and it is perfect but it's not running smoothly, I can't even see my design or anything it just won't change, I cant zoom in or out and it's really annoying.
Apologizes for the inconvenience. Sometimes web browser settings or connection speed have halted effective use, but it is actually quite rare we receive technical issues. Would you mind sending us more detailed information via support form in our webpage? Do you have javascript enabled in your web browser?
Thanks for the notice. It was a problem in our SSL certificate and lasted for two days. (We renewed and paid certificate few months ago, but last step in renewal on serverside had hit a snag. It was not found out until earlier certificate period run out and correction took some time because people were already on christmas holidays). Lesson learned and hopefully does not repeat ever again.
Hmm.. Could you describe your problem bit more? Do you mean length is not shown correctly or do you mean when you print out as pdf and then to paper you are not getting desired 1:1 scaling? Length set in profile tab is for the main body and it does not include components like swimming lip. Unfortunately also curved tails etc. are components and software does not yet make difference for them. If you print to paper and main body is not the length mentioned in profile tab, then I would suspect you might have somewhere "fit to paper" or similar setting in your printer menu. If you open the problematic lure in LureBuilder and use "Inquiry" button to send us problem description, we would love to take a look.
Apologizes, did not receive any notification you had left comment and spotted this bit late. Thanks for the feedback. Stl export it is not yet natively supported in software itself, but we have done them by special request for many customers. It is relatively easy process to take it out, but requires some time per model. Can not guarantee we could serve all the customers and take out all the models, but feel free to contact us info(at)welinglures.com and we'll see what we can do. There might be export feature coming up with some modest fee, but it still needs some thought to do it properly (could cause also some issues and stl quality assurance should be preferrably automated to support this).
@@wellingluresoyltd.8443 Theyre likely trying to make money off of the printing. Its a fantastic program. I have an idea in mind but dont want anyone to have access to it so it looks like I cant use the program. Another thing you could do is charge for the printing or charge for the finished stl file so we can print from home and no one else will be able to see our own designs.
@@coryh7209 Thanks for the feedback. Yes, you are correct. We had to select 5 years ago if software would be sold by fixed price, annual license fee or by current financing model - by charging from prints. Last option was selected as not too many craftsmen had 3D printers that time and it was thought this is the easiest entry method for anyone wanting to try this method. What comes to confidentiality of designs, each design is stored to user's own library and other users do not see them. There are two admins who can take 3D model out for printing purpose and we definately do not share the models anywhere, they are strictly confidential. Any leaks would ruin our business so we want to keep very high standard in data security. In some cases customers ask postprocessing with methods we do not have or for example to work with 3rd party mold shop, factory etc. For our own suppliers we have strict NDA's and we have not seen any data security breach in these 5 years we have been operating. Like a reference picture? Yes, it is a good idea. Actually we considered it in the beginning, but thought it would have also bit of a misuse. We did not want to emphasis any feature which could be used to trace also existing lures. But for referencing natural baitfish, it would truly be nice to have.

Great. If you need any help in modelling, just hit us a line e.g. to info(atsign)wellinglures.com.

Very nice software. Is it also possible to save a design as an stl file so I can try printing it on my home 3d printer?
I was going to ask the same question.
