a better way to delete the unneeded files is to click ctrl+A and then hover over the assets folder and ctrl click it to unselect it, then just delete them
Very Helpful for me. Also 4:10 another way to also delete them is to click the assets then invert selection (Although I think this is windows 10 exclusive and may require 7zip for the option)

If there is no jar file, make sure you have fully booted up and played in that version of Minecraft. Also if you are after (for example) version 1.19.2, then it might not be there because it has the same files as 1.19.1, 1.19.0, etc. Try checking other folders too. The .jar file will usually be in the .0 folder (1.19.0, 1.18.0)
On your screen you could see pictures of all the textures and the name underneath. Put on mine the pictures aren't loading, and I did already try changing all the view options. No rush but if you could please help that would be nice ❤❤❤
Bro i use Minecraft tlauncher and I use forge optifine 1.8.9 and when ever I wear armour and see any other in armour i see him in purple and black armour ... So I beg u plz tell me the solution earliest......
So many files in the .jar file are in fact .json files. To navigate to the .png files, go to: assets > minecraft > textures In the 'textures' folder you will find all the png files.
@@Itsme64 thanks bro that was helpful but there is one more problem I change my trident and Armor texture but it is showing changed in my inventory only not in my player's body while equipping Armor or taking trident in my hand or throwing it
@@vishvplayz You're Welcome, So in the 'textures' folder you should be able to find a folder called models, with inside of that folder a folder called armor. In here you will find more armor textures, those are the ones that change how armor looks on your body.

The only thing other than the view options I can think of would be making sure you have quite a bit of spare storage.

When you rename 1.18.2.jar to 1.18.2.zip, it doesn't change into a zip file for NO reason
make sure you're really replacing the zip, and not just adding it to the end

Yea, so t-launcher is one big bug. 9 out of 10 times, if you're having a problem on t-launcher, t-launcher is the problem
