This is so interesting, most people don't know anything about Mongolian culture and Hunnu history, I am quite interested in religious imagery but I had never in my life heard about this.
Considering how graceful but also quick and efficient a Snow Leopard is, while at the same time so incredibly hard to spot... I can totally see how that turns into a mythical creature considered holy by a culture. Very interesting indeed.
Snow leopards are so beautiful and so rare, it makes sense for a band with so much talent to use one for its logo! Love your music and can't wait for the album!
Guys I am from middle east and I was blown away with this .. I root hard for you , wish you the ultimate success and I wish that your Huuuuuus will conquer the world of music ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Some still do hold on to tradition and ancestor worship. I don't particularly do anything of the sort, but I do hold great respect to those who've come before me. Which is a rarely seen phenomenon today. It's a weird thing, the more I've learned throughout my life, has made me respect those who've come before me, more and more, and it's made me respect my fellow men less and less. Society today is absolutely respectless, it's such a sad sight. Everyone think that they are better than everyone else and that they are some sort of movie star and everyone else is a background character.
@@livedandletdie I don't know what country you're from or start cultural background you have, but from my perspective, not much has changed. People have always been shortsighted and self-centered. It's nothing new. People in the past would literally claim to be gods or descended from/chosen by gods. People do have respect in this generation, it's just that people don't need to please their elders in every aspect of life if they don't genuinely mean it. There's a lot of good and bad in every generation, and the only reason it seems to not be the case is because of how hard to is to objectively view huge gaps in time. Our minds prefer to oversimplify time periods so we cash better understand them. So the past seems more humble outside of the context of economics, warfare, and plagues because the only things left to look at in simplified forms are cultural traditions. It's almost impossible to get an objective look at how every person felt about these traditions, so we get the idea that everyone adhered to them and they made society better. The immediate best generation is going to think we're dumb for all our mistakes that they have to fix, but the generations after that that don't understand the weight of our problems are probably going to see us as more simple, relaxed, and generally happier people. They're going to look at our music, dancing, and movies and think they were old time classics with significance to our current cultures. Basically, what I'm saying is don't try and categorize people into simple, easy to understand units based on things like generations and cultures. Look at people as individuals with their own reasons for doing things and feeling the way they do.
As far as I can tell from Yuve yuve yu, the song questions the people that claim close Hunnu connections, but lives it falsely (cherry picking) or do not live up to ideals of the ancient traditions.
@@livedandletdie the reason why you think is respectless is because back then you would get beat up or killed if you didn't obey, its as simple as that, that doesn't mean everyone back then was mindless and held traditions as the absolute way of living most people probably didn't since traditions change eventually, even those we think have been since forever have adapted and morphed to whatever the current generation is

I am astonished, amazed and truly impressed by the fact that a band chose to scientifically research their logo by studying archaeological papers and scholastic works. I couldn't tell you the level of their research, or how they'd compare with someone like Dr Brian May or the madcap genius of Iron Maiden's Bruce Dickinson. I can tell you that I just don't expect to hear the words "archaeology" or "scholar", let alone the conducting of research, from your average pop star. I can also tell you that I don't expect deep cultural understanding or a thorough grasp of belief systems from rock or metal stars, either. It happens, but it's rare.
