Cross ventilation is very important, also heat loss prevention (cold or hot) , i think with the good prices in the electric bill in paraguay you could keep the AC running, different than in Florida i think the reason AFFORDABLE housing there has low ceilings and atics is so they save the money to finish 1/3 of the house, so i would go with the Marcel Design of having the high ceilings. Can you comment if you have seen houses with Bugs/Moskito screens ? to open the windows and enjoy cross ventilation.. can you mention you a house like Marcel's what would be the renting price (because the house is rented already and i couldnt find the price anywhere). thx for the video cheers
Yes, Marcel owns the property. If you check the description, you will find a link to his Telegram channel for the property. If you download the Renting Guide there is info on the Telegram channels that have good quality rental options all over Paraguay 🙂
No offense, but Europeans are not the best source of information for building homes in Paraguay. As a person who lived in South Florida for over 30 years, I can tell you this: The remedy for humidity is called air conditioning that you are not afraid to use a lot. High ceilings are pretty, but if you want to be efficient, build a house with an attic. That way you are not cooling, or heating all that space.
@@andyespo13 Good call. No question, the best source of information are those who have lived with these conditions and cracked the code. I do believe the ample ventilation that Marcel has incorporated is miles ahead of many buildings I have seen here, but as you say, there's a myriad of other ways to get the job done. Thanks for your thoughts about this.
Love the house and the setting among the trees and no neighbours in sight. Just my cup of tea.
Awesome!
