The first one is Hollywood used to be able to produce different types of good movies but in recent years it just makes boring superhero movies repeatly. There are so many new ones released every week that my friends and I spent many, many hours binge watching; (and while doing our yoga & pilates and eating our meals). Rafa: thanks for this eye opening video. I had no idea that the Wuxi Studios are so huge. I recognized some of the stage/filming areas that you’ve shown in various dramas that we’ve seen. This is very interesting. Please do more videos about the film industry in China. Thank you.

Just binge-watched a Chinese modern xianxia series, I Am Nobody. It's really, really good. That is, if you like a dorky main character with superpowers. And I like how the Chinese dramas explain the origin of the superpowers of their characters.

I can't count the number of Chinese films that I have seen (mainly on YT) and curiously in many cases, the Chinese film reminded me of one or more scenes from an American film but over time I realized that even low-budget American films were partially "inspired" by other American films partially, those with larger budgets and directly produced in Hollywood. When we unconsciously copy others, we call it “inspiration”. except for costume films or wuxia or kung fu.

This is completely different from the Western market, which has always emphasized that it is a free market, but has used various means to obstruct restrictions.
