It is hard to find an answer to it. The move is -3 on shield and has a large hitbox. Only gw can punish it with a frame perfect up-b (as long as cloud spaced incorrectly).

Acola's use of blocks aren't optimize, and still not using Steve's Tech, which is the reason Acola's gonna lose. Also, it feels like Acola change his play style on using blocks so much, compared to few years ago. Hope Acola fix his play style.

There is also turnaround-b, where you flick the left stick quickly in the opposite direction before pressing B. ssbwiki explains it best..... "A turnaround-B will cause the character to change the direction they are facing right before starting the special move. While B-reversing requires a direction to be input right after a special move, a turnaround-B is done by tapping the direction away from where the character is facing before the special move. In the case where the player wished to do a turnaround neutral special, they must be sure to let the control stick reset to a neutral position before pressing B (or any button mapped to specials)."
i’m not sure what got into acola this game. i was just watching him, saying “roll” aloud predicting his rolls out of shield and even me, a random jim at home was able to do that almost perfectly. he was panicking hard. he was not playing like a top 5 player this set
When will Steve's learn that using minecart in disadvantage is not safe whatsoever? Acola wasted so much gold and iron only to get hit midair, when he should've just made gold tools.

It can be safe if you NIL after, and going low against a Cloud like Sparg0 can almost guarantee you just get daired or limit cross slashed, even worse if crafting table is by ledge bc the hit box gets extended too Stalling with blocks vs a Cloud is a no-go, and Elytra recovering to centre stage ain't that reliable either. Sometimes you just have to try Minecart
Yep. I've played Steve since he came out and I fought numerous Steves on the Stevecord (Haven't in a while though) and actually learned about his techniques. I'm no expert or anything but I'd say the Smash community is a little behind on the curve.
