As someone who co mains both of these characters, and watches them both frequently, and analyzes mid match, i think kola honestly fumbled this whole set. He had two sets to adapt and he never did, kola also mains cloud, and hes fought spargo time and time again. Dont get me wrong spargo absolutely outplayed him, but there were so many times kola just completely misplayed, dropped a punish, didnt catch an obvious reads, look at how many jumps above ledge and rolls in from ledge spargo gets away with the entire time. Kola must have been nervous or something cause the real problem was piss poor execution and decision making. This could have been a way closer GF if kola was playing the way hes really capable of. A lot of shit spargo did was INSANELY obvious and none of it went punished ever
GGs to Spargo! This 3 weeks have been insane. 3 (Genesis, Pound,LTC) big tourneys back to back. And 3 (Leo,Gluto,Sparg0) different excellent players taking the W each time. Best 3 players in the world ATM?
After ProtoBanham vs Kola, this is another top player showdown that I absolutely wanted to see. And just like I was after seeing the aforementioned set, I'm disappointed after watching these ones. This was so... one-sided. I wasn't particularly rooting for anyone here as I like both players about equally (so I was... far less s/mad lol), but I still wanted to see way closer sets. Kola did 3 stock Sparg0 though... the only game he won. Other than that, I'm beginning to wonder if recovery really is a weakness I can ignore like a lot of people have been doing lately. I'm also realizing the importance of angle and ability to snap ledges even on bad recoveries. Cloud has a bad/mediocre recovery, but as long as he has a double jump or Limit, it feels like he should recover in a lot of matchups (which feels a little weird to say I know). The vertical angle and Cloud's sword seem to really help him recover vertically, he can snaps ledges well, he can also do side B mixups... Climhazzard seems harder to edgeguard than Blazer, the later which has a more diagonal recovery angle, making positioning easier for opponents I think. I wonder if characters like say, Captain Falcon can trade with Climhazzard and spike Cloud though (bet they can). Roy's spike kinda sucks by the way (which is a shame lol), I can't picture him spiking Cloud much unlike other characters. Also... is it me, or Cloud (slightly) beats Roy ? Essentially, I think it's not easy for Roy to get in against Climhazzard and Cross Slash. I was also surprised at Cloud's ability to edgeguard Roy even with his down air. Roy, on the other hand, seems to have a harder time edgeguarding Cloud. But maybe Kola didn't use Blazer much here also. Still, feels like true swordies like Lucina or Shulk would fare better than Roy against Cloud. And one last thing... is it me again, or is Cloud top tier ? Besides (especially) edgeguarding, and maybe comboing and juggling (although less significantly), counterplay against this character seem very limited. Great frame data, sword so disjoints and priorities, free up B oos, good mobility, heavy weight making him hard to kill unless you gimp him, good and versatile comeback mechanic, making Climhazzard great and even making Finishing Touch reminiscent of Wario Waft... I wouldn't be surprised if he also didn't lose to more than about 10, or say, 15 characters. I know people might say " no it's just Sparg0 ", but Tea is the only relevant great Pac-Man player and everyone and their dog think this character is top tier. So, why not a character like Cloud ? I view this character as a low top tier or a upper high tier. Think I'm too optimistic about him ? If so, why ?

Congrats to Sparg0at!
Why are spargo and mkleo so good at this game?
Fantastic mentality, they adapt really fast, have great spacing and like K-Pop.
@@SeriousStriker it's really the power of k-pop
K-pop, Mexico and training from M2K
They’re masters at spacing and are able to rapidly adapt to their opponents (often multiple times In a single set).
@@SeriousStriker and they’re Mexican don’t forget that 😏
As someone who co mains both of these characters, and watches them both frequently, and analyzes mid match, i think kola honestly fumbled this whole set.

Congrats to See Spargo!!!! Faze up!!! Props to Kola!
haven't even watched and know this sets bouta be raw af
Charlie said he’s in TX I wonder what he might be there for
GGs to Spargo!
2:33 linkin park nice
Lui$ taunted so hard that Sparg0 decided to take game 5 and then not drop another game until GF Reset. Insane.
I wonder what would have happened if mute didn't play dabuz
