Heh Rhett, thanks for the update. The new little heifer is gorgeous & Bernadette is a good Mum😊 How exciting to be able to register your first calf?👏🏼👍🏼🎉 Tablespoon is the perfect name for the new tractor🚜 The farm is looking a lot greener. How about the small pond that you did a bit of a reno on? Is it starting to fill up? You can do an apple crumble with pears instead, served warm with some with some ice cream, yum😋 Take care & cheers 🐨🦘🥰

Congratulations on your new baby! Registering for anything these days can be onerous but worth it. Good Luck getting some rain for your plantings. Enough but ot to much.

For the pear sauce you need to pick 8-10pear peeled cores cut into 1inch pieces 1/4 cup water 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice and 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon and 1/2 teaspoon of ground ginger and 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract prep time 15 minutes and cook time 30 minutes and total time 45 minutes and 8 about 4 cups instructions combine pears, water lemon juice, cinnamon ,ginger ,and vanilla in a large saucepan .bring to boil over high heat .reduce heat medium-low heat stirring occasionally ,until pears have softened ,about 25-30 minutes use an immersion blender to process the pear sauce smooth .if you want prefer a chunky pear sauce ,mash with a potato masher you can also transfer the cooking pear to blender or food processor to process just make sure the pear sauce cooled down once pear sauce cooled down pour into a glass or plastic container cover and store in the refrigerator the pear sauce will keep in the fridge for one week you can also freeze or can pear sauce

We had a wonderful pear tree. Nothing better than your own canned pears in the dead of winter. Best of everything to you, your family, and your wonderful cows. Love those calves.

Just been touring through OK over the weekend for business and in OKC for the last few nights now, beautiful weather, obviously green from the recent rains but nowhere near enough water anywhere.

I so love your cows. Enjoy learning new things about them. I had no clue they would eat turnips, I'm assuming just the greens or peas. Poor Bernadette looks very rough. Her baby is adorable but very hard on momma. I know you have said your lovely wife and you are having a baby but not sure if you have said when. Wondering if you know what you are having, I'd like to make something for him/her and something for Luci. Thanks for the updates, keep them coming. God bless you and yours.
