    • @davidimhoff2118
      @davidimhoff2118 Месяц назад +6

      You’re asking a question way too early. Everyone wants to know what happened but until it gets investigated we just have to wait. Yes 3 men went to the hospital. Hospitalized makes it sound like they are admitted and we really don’t know their condition until someone reports on it.

    • @thetreedemoknight4827
      @thetreedemoknight4827 Месяц назад +4

      Most of what I'm hearing is that the MOW crew wrongfully confirmed that a switch set to the mainline, and the intermodal train was instructed by dispatcher to pass a red signal over the aforementioned switch, sending it into the rear of a rock train. Might be speculation though, take all information with a grain of salt until official information is available.

    • @frankely6378
      @frankely6378 Месяц назад +2

      This was a head on. The intermodal was lead by 2 locos, the rock train by 3. The collision pushed the rock train locos back into the first few cars of that train. It looks like the 3rd loco from the rock train actually got the worst end of the deal. The first few cars of that train certainly did. There are more detailed reports that say the signals were in suspension for some maintenance, and the switch under manual control. The switch didn't get lined correctly, and there you go.
