Sandakphu was around my mind from the last few months. We did a bike trip from Guwahati to siliguri in January 2020 on a RE Himalayan. We made siliguri our base and went to Kurseong, Darjeeling, Ghoom, Mirik. On our 2nd last day in siliguri the receptionist of the hotel advised us to visit maneybhangjang. So we took planned for the same. So the place is heaven. Upon reaching maneybhangjang we got to know about sandakphu trek. We were planning the trip this durga puja.. but due to this covid situation it's highly unlikely that we would be able to go to sandakphu.. Maybe next year. ✌️
Sandakphu is worth visiting. You marked Maneybhanjan on your list. Soon sandakphu, phalut will be on your list. By the way I've just completed a road trip till gurudongmar lake and the whole series is there on my channel. Trust me it's just perfect lockdown content and you'll relate it more cause you enjoyed RE Himalayan. 🤘🤘

I've been to assam, Shillong but never on bike. I've two things to mark till now. Riding in road's if bhutan and Guwahati Roads. The curve's are just heaven. I've some future plans for assam. Just waiting to settled down everything.

Do one thing, directly call or go to the GTA office in Kolkata and ask them about it. About their possibilities of hotels. Then discuss with tshirng. If there's no GTA, tshirng is enough to handle everything. 😊 And this coming February is going to be a memorable one, with plenty of snow. 😊

Yes Debanjan. I like your videos. I am a travel vlog fanatic. I am addicted to travel vlogs so i watch them keenly. I think you should also go off beat places to gain more viewers. Try stabilizing your Go Pro and talk to the camera, give your feelings. The way you focus on surroundings is good.
And a recommendation you might or might not like. Create a stage name, so that you overcome localization barriers. Like there is "mountain vlogger" "msk" "mumbaikar nikhil" etc. It will make you go international.

See 1st of all December is peek time you can say. I can't assure you.. also in some places trekkers hut of GTA is the only option. Places like Tonglu, Phalut,gairibas etc. Places like Sandakphu, kalipokhari, tumling, Maneybhanjang have extra hotel's but in peek season it's really risky i think.
You can do one thing... Watch the 1st episode of SANDAKPHU TREK: The plan.. there you'll get a contact number of guide's association. Just call them once and ask them about it. I think they've the right information..
