Goechala Trek is one of the most difficult trek in India in Sikkim.
I have completed this trek on Oct 2016 with Indiahikes. They provide good facilities during the trek.

Dada im planning the trip next month and was hoping if you have any details of the latest update. Onek phata phati details video ta baniyecho
I think it is not the right time to visit there for two reasons:
1. U have to go with lots of COVID restrictions and certificates to convince sikkim GOVT
2. Try to avoid this summer and pre monsoon season as rain comes early in eastern part so u won’t get good view and climate remains cloudy all time.
Suggestions:
Rather wait for 4-5 months and try to visit at Oct when hills remain calm and visibility will be excellent.
and also COVID restrictions may reduce as OCT is the puja or festive season

Yes it is required . But Local Agencies & guide generally taken care of it. u just need to pay the money & submit documents that required.

Good down jacket 🧥 itself a snow repellent as well as warm. You should go for it

They prove mole only for large group. For small group porter is enough

Shubham Jhorad no no absolutely not. This is not Nepal trek. U won’t get food and rest house properly. U need to carry everything from yuksom. One guide and porters , depending on ur demands.

How much weight should we carry during the trek.. is it needs extra training of mountaineering.
It’s a high altitude trek and little bit difficult also , so I always recommend to take Porter and you should carry a day pack of 20 or 30 lit for your personal belongings.
Mountaineering is not required but for this trek u have to prepare yourself mentally and physically.

Self guided group is ok but it is better that u ask for local trek leader as it is a sanctuary trek also and if any prob occur they will take care of it.

Yes it is a kind of difficult trek specially if it is ur first trek. You should have some experience in 10,000 to 12,000 ft summit or trek experience.
Goechala is a long trek and it starts with 7000ft to 16000ft.
Kintu na parar moto noe... tobe dada bhai etuku bolbo j moner jor holo aasole .. gie ja dekhben ta sarà jibone bhulben na.. bhalo guide ba porter nile r proper trek gears jodi thake and if u intake at least 2-3 lit of water every day then AMS lagar chance thake na.. so prob hobe na..

Bt in indiahikes page ..they have mentioned maximum altitude of trek is 15100ft!!

yah.. its actually different . India Hike never respond beyond their schedule. But they have to depends on local guide , those are very expert. if u can manage your guide to trek Pandim base , he will help you a lot.
the V1( first view point ) is around 15500 ft. but if you go little up then the view is awesome. we did the same.

Arey Yar, Bhai - kill the bloody music man!!! It distracts from the commentary and the lovely scenery! I too have done the Sudhakphu trek , October 1968, the year of the great cyclone which devastated the whole Hills region!!
