Wow SVG car 88 I think someone has a good gut feeling about you letting U have the number 88 U have ernt it and U deserve this opertunity go hard mate wishing all the best with your NASCAR racing careea
They are still in the loop just being quiet sitting back in the shadows. Give it time if he shows promise and more consistency then RB In the past in nascar. The fact he still races with RB sponsorship on his helmet should be enough indication they are still there.
@@aygeeninty771 it would only be a 88 tribute to Whincup if SVG was still racing in the V8 supercars.. bro what a honour it would be to race with the 88 Dale Ernheart SNR and JNR number as proud of SNR driving the 88 and JNR carrying on the legacy of his father's number 88 that number has been locked up for 2 generations of legends racing and for the Ernheart family to give up the rights to the number 88 to SVG wow puts a tear in my eye
Of all the drivers in the cup series this season how many have never been a winner on ovals? I don't think Shane will be alone. To win on ovals it seems to me you need a fair bit of luck especially on tracks like Daytona and Taladega where multi car pile ups are the norm. How many wins in the cup series have Trackhouse had? It seems to me that the teams with the greatest resources will always rise to the top, it happens in all motorsport. Hendrick Motorsports and the like win often for a reason. I looked it up after I wrote the preceding comments but if SVG fails to win on Ovals he can have plenty of company from this season where so far 20 drivers have failed to win!
@@broadside1944 That's the excuse you're going with? Start listing all the drivers names who came from road course racing and did well in Nascar? You cant/won't because there aren't any. Luck is what people with no talent wish for.

RedBull 88 sounds nice, he’s already an RB athlete, they don’t have a car sponsorship?🤔

It's bc there can't be a 888 car.
88 a great tribute to Jamie Whincup.
Whos Whincup😂
@tangiphillips4100 the GOAT 🐐 of V8 Supercars, his former team mate and boss used 88.
No tribute to Whincup if you know about V8 racing 😂

He's got some talent no doubt about it. Seems a bit pre mature though. Get a Ixfinity title under his belt first.

WTF😒😒why would SVG Would drive the number 88 car in the NASCAR CUP SERIES HAS FULL TIME 88 car Blonde to Rick Hendrick Motorsports
What ? Makes no sense
Another Marcos Ambrose... awesome on road courses and nowhere to be found on ovals.
@lilsebastian,well road courses are harder than an oval tracks.
Tbf he’s already doing better than Ambrose on ovals. What did you expect after 1 yr , it’s totally different racing.

@@jase77. No he isn't... literally the same. Dominates road courses and 20th or worse on ovals.
