If anyone's curious, the Trojan Horse design that Zwist went with is inspired by the design used in Troy, the 2004 movie with Orlando Bloom and Brad Pitt! It's a really cool design that makes the horse look more monstrous I think since we see the movie MOSTLY through the eyes of Troy. Fun fact about the fun fact, everyone's favorite "tragic character death" having actor, Sean Bean, plays Odysseus in the movie!

@@TsukaiyoThat’s just because AI bases its model on actual art made by people. AI’s style is from people, so people may obviously use similar styles at times.
When I first saw the painting “Trail Riders” by Thomas Hart Benton, I was struck with how similar in style it was to many AI generated landscapes. But this was a painting from the mid 1960s, well before any AI influence. It’s because it’s these artists and others like them that created the art style that people now associate with AI.

I’m so happy and glad you’re sharing this art specifically because I already saw a few people trying to claim that it’s AI which honestly sucks for Zwist who has done all of the albums at this point I believe? (I could be wrong) the work is AMAZING and personal just love the darker tones of these new album covers
I was one of the people wondering. But then I got the name from someone else in the community and looked up the artist 😅. It sucks that people didn't ask before making the claim.☹️ The artist is really talented, and I hope they keep working with the project!

As a visual artist myself it's seriously a breath of fresh air to have someone like you giving platform to so many people especially at a time where we're being constantly bombarded with countless discouraging news regarding AI.
There's so many things I'd like to say but the feeling is so overwhelming I can barely put together a single text.
I absolutely enjoy Epic as it's own thing but seeing your excitement as you work with other artists just makes me wholeheartedly love it.

Jay , can you make an "What if saga" after Epic ends. I would like to see some scenarios like:
"What if Odyseus killed the cyclops after escaping the cave " or "What if Eurylochus didn't open the wind bag" etc!!
Ive always loved the cover arts that were made by Zwist, they give you the mental picture of what is happening, or what is to come.
Everyone in the Epic crew did an amazing job at working on the musical! You can tell they all worked hard for the final product! ❤

Hey Jorge, I have a question. If in some future scenario Epic is completed, and it has all the merchandise and adaptations ever, and has become a staple of pop culture as it should, then what would your next project be? Do you have any idea for what you would work on that isn't Epic related if you somehow ever do finish everything relating to Epic?
He might work on the Iliad! It’s the story before the Odyssey. He’s mentioned that he’s thought about making an Iliad musical a few times.
@@MildlyPerturbed It'd be interesting to see Achilles, Patroclus, Agammemnon, etc. I'd hope Achilles would be the main character, but that might be difficult because of...well, you know.

This isn’t related to Greek myth though it’s still classic literature, but I think a musical concept album of Dante’s Divine Comedy would be really cool.

For those of you wondering which ones, Remember Them, My Goodbye, Puppeteer, and Thunder Bringer all have the animations. Thank you Jay for releasing this incredible music!
I just noticed that at the end of Thunder Bringer, the melody is the same as the end of My Goodbye. So it is like Odysseus' goodbye to his crew/friends when he chooses for them to die.🫢
This is why I love epic so much because Jay creates these very emotional moments only through the music❤️😭

I’m glad you showed the process, I saw people accusing the cover art of being AI, which I didn’t understand because it looked like it was actual art made by a person to me. Unfortunately the landscape of AI has made people wary of what’s real art, which is incredibly sad and disheartening.

While I dont like the new Troy and cyclops sagas as much, I still hold a deep appreciation for you and EPIC: The Musical as a whole. Weird to say how much it has changed my life. Dangerous is my favorite song, and is so very motivating and has gotten me through really tough times, so I'm anticipating the finished version of that. I've only been around for the releases of the underworld and thunder sagas, but listening to both for the first time gave me goosebumps

It’s genuinely so heartwarming to see how kind and supportive you are towards the artists you bring on to this project💙 In an age full of AI and artist exploitation left and right, it’s so nice to see such a genuine example of creatives coming together to make something beautiful like this, and as an artist myself, I just hope that we continue to see more cases like this!
