Thank you, this was very helpful! That front wheel in the background of this video at 3:50 makes me glad to know that my Versa isn't the only one to lose a hubcap.🙂
Someone broke into a friends Versa last week, they tore the door handle completely off trying to get in, the part where you said the rod mechanism needs to be pushed over to the side part? I am assuming that rod is not where it is supposed to be under a break in situation. Can you show a video on how to replace the door handle in the event that rod mechanism gets dropped? Hope I am making sense. Thanks.
For anyone watching this, the commenter that said he needed a T30 was correct. I used a T30 and it worked perfectly. Don't drop the inner bracketbrace down into your door when you loosen the lock! That's the main pitfall.
On my 2010 Nissan versa the lock bezel fell off, but the handle is still good can I only remove and replace the lock bezel ? Or I need to replace the whole thing.
All l need to do it looks like is get out the right (key) piece and tighten or snap in thosr 2 little tabs cause its loose as you open door. Left long piece handle is fine. Im just worried lock piece will fall in or not go back in. Can l loosten it slightly then snap those 2 left tabs back in place with needle nose pliers?
