Thank you Squarespace for sponsoring this video!!
Thanks so much to everyone who joined the chat during the premiere!! I'm so sorry I wasn't there ToT. Love you guys.
Just thought I'd call your art pretty! Everytime I see an amazing art piece, I literally get a boost of confidence to draw just as well like you someday :D
Really happy to hear that ;DD
totally, always nice to see another upload
Also wish I will be able to draw that well someday
“Do what feels the most fun”. I actually love that ❤️
"I really need to learn to enjoy the position that I'm in ...." this something I really needed to hear right now, thank u 😌❤
I have been super busy with work from college lately and I rarely had any rest time...during these times I have been watching your videos to cheer me up...maybe you can´t see it but I´m supporting you in the shadows... one like is leaved by me in every video you post...
Prettyyyyy ♥ I like the squash of her face beneath her hand :)
your work is incredible, especially when you're doing linework. every single stroke just feels confident idk how to explain it
fr yeah
my planning process - look through inspiring stuff on pinterest, taking pencil, sketchbook and here we go! :D
Cos, the thing I love the most about your videos is how it feels like sitting in a coffee shop and talking to a friend. It's so peaceful. Happy to have you back. I'm curious as to how to manage to keep ink on your nib...maybe it's the kind of ink I use (winsor newton) but I feel like I am constantly going back n forth to drop ink on my nib for very tiny things.
Anyway, congrats on your marriage♡
Fear of failure is definitely one of my biggest -if not the only- problem with my art. Such a difficult thing to cope with!
It really is! you'd think after like 15 years (or 20 ..22? pfff) of repetition it would ease up, but I feel like it's so easy to slip further and further into comfort mode unless you vigilantly try to keep things slightly challenging.
Awake at midnight just to watch this!
i was watching ur videos when i was studying for exams BUT when they where finally over i just had to much inspiration to pick up m sketchbook and go full out
I love your linework style so much
thank you!!
I have so many old unfinished sketches that I still like and would like to complete, I can totally relate! I think that I didn't finish them straight away it was because they were "precious" to me and I didn't feel like I had the skill level to give them justice. Like I couldn't even decide which media I was going to use, I still not know now 😂 I also feel like sometimes with a sketch that was a bit complicated to make, I get bored of it and I can't stand looking at it any longer, even though I really like it. I don't know why my (our?) brains work this way, there's no logic in it. I guess that sometimes we just want to move forward, because we have other valuable ideas or we feel like we are stuck in a rut because of the time that sketch took, we just want to make more fresh art. And especially nowadays, with social media pumping out huge amounts of new art on a daily basis, we also tend to feel less productive, which is a utterly toxic thought, but I can't help it. I have some inktober drawings from 2018 (?) that I started to finish lately, because I still like them and the new graphic design look they have and that reflects my studies at the moment, although I don't feel like posting them because they're "old". I told myself to post them just to track my progress through the years, but I'm still not totally convinced about that.
Anyway I really like this artwork, as always, and if you have more "corpses" like this one to dig out, just do it, but try to enjoy the process :) perseverance is always a good friend! Also, I've been in love with this color palette since the first time you used it, and wouldn't mind at all seeing more of it and of the traveler!
Thank you for the thoughtful comment! And yes ugh sometimes I also have the 'unable to choose a medium' or colourscheme or something like that which prevents me from executing the final piece. The last corpse (lol) is probably the best example of me feeling way too precious about the sketch and wanting to find the perfect day to work on the illustration, but no day was 'perfect' enough and here we are like 4 years later lmaoo. I will get to it shortly :P
You should definitely post your art even if it's older! I have that issue too, I never want to repost but at the same time I cannot keep up with social media algorithm demands at ALL these days. The pace keeps getting faster and faster. It's insane because I generally am pretty quick with my process, a lot quicker than average, and yet I feel like I can't keep up at all. I can only imagine how awful it is for artists that do detailed paintings which take several days or even weeks. The feeling of constantly being behind is so toxic -_-
But yeah.. best of luck to both of us!!
every struggle you talked about here is eerily similar to what I've been experiencing too; I over-plan things in my art and my life so often that I always procrastinate bc I feel like I don't have the skillset or the time or whatever but its like BRO JUST DO IT LMAO... thank you for the video and the reminder to just make whatever you want lol
you do deserve what you work so hard for! and I know the guilt can be crushing just know that we your followers will gladly be there for you!
Your art reminds me of hot coffe on a rainy day idk why maybe is the warm brown color you use
Your art is absolutelly stunning! I'm starting to draw and paint as a hobbie and your videos and art are very inspiring!
Its always a good day when you upload
First video of yours I’ve seen. This illustration is very Arthur Rackham-esque, in my opinion. Very nice. I would like to work with colored inks, myself.
Omg I just found your channel like 30 minutes ago and I'm already in love with it! Your art style your personality everything! Keep up the good work!😊👍
Yeah, those thoughts are so frustrating..... like it's so strange that drawing should be relaxing..... I have this thoughts in my mind, sooo. Thank you) your videos are very inspiring & helpful)
always happy to see a new video from you on my feed! ❤
First, this artwork was beautiful as always !You always serve and inspiration to get grab my pencil and get to drawing!
Second, man oh man did I feel this chat. Imposter syndrome is something that I've been feeling heavily recently as well about so many things. Regarding my artwork, I've been feeling so down about it lately. Bored in a sense as you mentioned, and I can't for the life of me get out of this feeling. I love art so much. I've been drawing for so long. I have so many things I wish to do with mey art but I feel so...stagnant right now and it's taking all the joy I have for creating art away. Yet, at the same time I feel like I have bigger things I should be focuses on and...ugh yeah lol. I feel you. You are not alone.
I want to say that you DO deserve all that you have right now, and just because others have bad things going on in their life doesn't mean you deserve your blessings any less!
Magnificent, as always.
You are literally my biggest inspiration currently. Your art is surreal to me. Like, it can't be real.
I feel weird to say it cuz of course you are allowed to and should find flaws in your art in order to get better, but i need to say, you are amazing.
I see so much EVERYTHING in your art. Really. I simply adore your work. Thanks a lot for existing! I love seeing your videos and creations!!
It is always great to watch the process, and the art itself is a wonder to behold. Makes me want to improve (even if I am lazy)
@@danny_decheeto8300 saaaame! I’ve been studying her style as she’s one of my favorites artists out there!

The Scholar was soo good one of my favourites too, you always have cool fashion sense.❤️

Thank you so much ;u;
I hope that this one will be available to buy as a sticker
Love this painting. 😊 I'm learning inks now, you're videos are very helpful.
OMG....i am in a same situation for like months...my artwork that a still haven't finished is sitting on my desk right now looking at me 😂
I absolutely love the aesthetic of pieces such as these! So warm.
Youre one of the very few creators tat i like the videos of even before watching them! Great art as always! Keep it up
You are not lazy - I think what you are describing is imposter syndrome.
I love your art so much. And if your process works it's right for you!
Can’t wait for the book! Love your work!
I love the way you do your illustrations
Your characters look great, I love how you draw faces and hair. Congratulations on the new book 👍
Your videos always cheer me up and motivate me to draw and this one was certainly no exception. Thank you so much for the motivation and the relaxing 18 minutes, I really needed this ^^
I'm so glad you liked the video!! I realized when I was done the voiceover that 18 minutes is actually pretty short compared to my other videos xD but i'm very excited to make more and longer ones soon, already have some footage :)))
@@CosmicSpectrumArt me too :), those video are really enjoyable ( i dont know if thus word is the right one, my apologies :,)) but they are also really helpfull in my opinion to learn the knowledge of art ! :D maybe you could record the sketching process ? 😊 Ofc, any pressure, the content that you put online is already perfect, it's just a suggestion 😗😊👍👍. Keep going dear ! 🖤🖤🖤
This is such a gorgeous piece! I really love her hair and the crow/raven. I'll definitely be checking out your other videos.
I can relate to whatever you said 😅
You're such a big inspiration
I love all your videos, they always motivate me to go pick up a pencil
You're artwork is beautiful!
So excited to see another video from you! I remember watching a video where you went through your old art and seeing your process made me start refining my own art more, instead of just getting frustrated and giving up, ill put the piece away for a week and start back at it. Or even starting the piece over. Thank you for making your videos!
That's amazing to hear!! I will definitely do another one of those old art videos at some point :)) I still have heaps of it haha. thank you for the comment
I love your Heajin drawings, is just relaxing and cute
She's my best girl hahaha xD
As I said earlier, HaeJin is queen ✨
everyone needs a birb for a hat 😀
Loved the video art looks great hope you have a great week
Thank you!!
@@CosmicSpectrumArt your welcome keep up the great work
Can’t wait for this video!
Just discovered this channel 😊 I would love a video on how you go about capturing your thoughts and put them in writing. If you have time to do so 😊
I really like your art ❤️❤️❤️Keep it up!Your videos are very inspiring.
Firstly this is gorgeous, second ty for talking about this ! The struggle is real, I still have times wee I hate doing commissions but I have to I also have a problem with starting what I want to do 😩 but in working on that , nice to now others have similar thoughts
ahhh so excited for your new book! will definitely be getting one!!
I hope one day i can be as good as you
Yay a new video 😍 I mean your character looks bored in this illustration so it could be that the bored looked on her face transfered to you while inking her 😅
that is very possible lmao!!!
On what kind of paper you use? What weight, what kind of texture? I have some sketches, I just want to inform myself for future shopping XD
Hello there again! I'm here with a question because I'm always here with a question. Any advice for somebody who is going to apply for an Artist's Alley for the first time? What are they usually looking for in a portfolio?
Also this video has inspired me to try watercolour with p a t i e n c e and it actually worked, so thanks for that
Beautiful! This makes me wonder why my pen doesn't flow like yours on rough watercolor paper, but it just ruins the paper and makes very rough and broken lines... 🤔 Is there any trick I am missing?
Are you using the same exact nib? (Zebra G nib)
@@CosmicSpectrumArt I don't think so, surely it's another one. Actually, I am not an expert since I'm mostly a digital artist and the nib I've bought is a very generic one. So it depends on it? I'd have bet it was the paper!
@@Danvik91 yes! the nib makes a huge difference, which is why I always use this one after having tried a few others. I find the Gnib is pretty flexible, so I have no trouble using it on any type of paper. It's possible that there are other factors, but i've never had issue with flow or broken lines so it makes me thing it's the quality of the nib..
@@CosmicSpectrumArt Understood, thank you very much! 😃❤️
Hey ! for a moment, I've been wondering..
Could it be that your universe of glooming veil etc. stems from maladaptive daydreaming ? Because I feel there's a lot of similarities between the way you created your stories (since childhood) and mine.
If that's the case, I'll be really thrilled to know there's someone else out there creating graphic novels out of the YEARS they spent creating their stories in their imagination :') but if it has nothing to do with it, that's okay too x)
If you don't know what maladaptive daydremaing is, you could watch this video from anthony padilla, i think it explains it pretty well: ruclips.net/video/wqqOeE20Grc/видео.html
A pity that the colors are similar to each other from the pants, hair.
Lovely work. Agree that your linework is very beautiful.
