Quick tip when leaving a park at the end of the day, if the line for Caribbean Beach is long, like leaving Magic Kingdom, turn around and check across the bus stop at Riviera Resort. Usually way less of a line and you can take the bus there and walk to your room from Riviera or if you are at the far end of the resort, take the skyliner to the next station and walk from there. Saved us a lot of waiting time with a sleeping 3 yr old on my shoulder.
We always give up and take a taxi 🤣 getting to the parks on the bus is just fine. Waiting for a bus when you are leaving the parks and you are TIRED and ready to lay down is a struggle!
Read this and realized I’m such a rule follower it never occurred to me you could ride the bus to the Rivera and if you’re on the Skyliner side of Barefoot Bay you could have about the same walk or shorter with the Skyliner. This never would have occurred to me.
@@richardlloyd7554 I got back a few weeks ago, we were in Martinique so close to Riviera, using their transportation was an absolute godsend, no having to stop at every island, just on the bus and straight to Magic Kingdom or Animal Kingdom. The only thing to be wary of is that you do sometimes have to wait an unexpectedly long time if you're getting the Skyliner to Epcot. Because it's a through-stop, you can stand there for ages waited for an empty carriage. So even if there are only five or six parties ahead of you in the queue, you might still have a bit of a wait for enough empty carriages to come round. But getting off there is absolutely fine.
I truly enjoyed staying at the Caribbean Beach resort. Everyone was so nice and the room was just what we needed for our stay. We did stay in Aruba so we were close to the skyliner which helped. I would definitely stay here again.
CBR is amazing. We love it here and go back annually. Amazing place to relax on non-park days. Very chill. The addition of the skyliner hub makes this place a must.
We spent our Honeymoon there 31 years ago. First time staying at a moderate resort. We prefer Port Orleans French Quarter now! But staying on property is always magical!
Something I've never heard mentioned - you can watch Epcot fireworks from Banana Cabana. We had no idea when we stayed there for a couple of nights at the end of October. We were just hungry so we wandered over shortly before they were closing and the cast member went out of her way to make sure we had a seat that would give us a great view of fireworks. We looked at each other and shrugged because we HAD NO IDEA because you've never mentioned this tip before. Sure enough - terrific view of the Epcot fireworks.
I love CBR, pool is amazing, skyliner hub is HUGE and Sebastian's Bistro is one of the most underrated restaurants on the property, plus PIRATES and THE LITTLE MERMAID theming. Just a wonderful resort.
I stayed at Caribbean Beach last month for my birthday and it was so lovely! The cast was amazingly nice, the quick service food wasn’t bad, extremely walkable resort, beautiful white sand beaches and hammocks to relax in after a park day. The skyliner was great and the buses were very prompt and quick- usually to the parks in a half hour for me. My one quibble was the room- I couldn’t get the A/c to stop running and it wasn’t as clean as I’d like. But the cast really went out of their way to make me feel special and for the price and transportation I’d stay there again!
I stayed in Jamaica I believe, so very close to the skyliner and not too far from the walking path to the main building, and there was a bus stop right outside my room that I snagged to Magic Kingdom my first day there.
@@chelsearoberts3507 Curious if you used Touring Plan’s website to figure out what building/room you wanted or their service where they made the request for you? I’m scouting building 45 in Jamaica as our likely place to request. We’re willing to take a quieter second floor room too so I hope that increases our chances.
@@brianrhester for my resort I used a travel agent with Small World Vacations- I was in a King room in building 46 on the ground floor. I was happy with the room, but I think I'll book my rooms on my own my next trip. I definitely recommend touring plans for wait times and agendas in the park! I got SO MUCH done on my only Magic Kingdom day, and even though I was beat by the end of it, there's no way I would have made that happen without their app.
We stayed at CBR and absolutely loved it!! We drove so we didn't have to deal with the bus. We missed the skyliner opening by 5 days. The rooms were newly remodeled, very clean and the bed was comfortable. The cast members were so nice. Every day they made sure we had a hidden mickey (towel made) somewhere in our room. The vibe was so relaxing, which is just right after a day at the parks in the middle of August. The pool was divine. First night at the parks we got back to the resort late and we couldnt order/buy food. The restaurant manager went out of his way to get some chicken, fries and a salad for us. I mean, how super nice is that?? Best cast members ever. LOVE LOVE LOVE CBR!!
We just stayed here and it was really nice and quiet! Our pirate themed room was great! And the skyliner was amazing! Took just a few minutes and you were in the parks 😊
Yessss stayed here in Trinidad in a pirate water view room and it was amazing! While Trinidad is the farthest from the lobby, it has its own bus stop, pool andddd is the closest walk to the skyliner
@@whitneysims1014 yes they have a station by the pool and even a quick service food joint (the quick service was closed due to covid but drink station still working).
I stayed at Pop Century last month and got on the skyliner from the CB hub. I’ve thought about staying here next year because it was such an easy & enjoyable ride to Epcot. This video was very helpful and I’m very much looking forward to the other resort’s ‘Worth it?’ videos.
Going this spring for the first time! Have loved staying at A of A annually, so wanted to give CB a try! We scoped it out earlier this year and like the theming and skyliner access.
You forgot the Joffery's coffee stand at the Sky Liner, which is not a total game changer, but tips the scales with my crew. We stayed at POP in August (to save a few bucks) and took the Sky Liner over to get our coffee fix :)
@@lizsmith7529 I was in Barbados building 31 Less than a 5 minute walk for 2 adults with no strollers or large bags Less than 10 minute stroll to the pool
My only gripe with Caribbean beach is I wish they really gave it flavor from the islands. Flags, distinct flavors, food and music on the property. For explain the Trinidad village should do mini carnivals. Jamaica should play instrumental reggae and offer amazing food. Martinique should real emphasize water preservation and exploring. Aruba could play into their marinetime history. They should all have history laced into theme.
@@SoniaDekker Ty so much. I literally had a friend from Trinidad who went to WDW on a work trip and was crushed by how little the Trinidad village had any nods to Trini itself. She spent the whole next day between meetings writing a 2 page essay she left with guest services on inexpensive touches they add to make the resort more authentic. Her whole point being WDW could be the go-to destination for Caribbean families across the globe if they showed the villages some love.
Caribbean beach resort was the first hotel we stayed at, with our kids. Before skyliner was built. The hotel and grounds were beautiful but transportation was a mess.. it took us 30 minutes to pick up or drop off some nights. We loved the pool. We have been staying in the boardwalk hotels since. We like being able to easily walk to 2 resorts and having lots of restaurant options between all those hotels.
It's my first WDW trip in 3.5 weeks, and I'm a mess! I've only ever been to the States once before and that was 23 years ago. I'm staying at CBR and now I'm feeling much better about it from seeing this video and reading the comments. Thanks guys 😘
I can’t wait for the other hotel videos. We have a DVC but not that many points each year and we got the annual pass they offered at a discount this time. We plan on trying out different hotels as we only stay at our home resort Animal Lodge. I have watched your other video ranking all the hotels and that actually helped us narrow some down a lot. Thanks
My husband and my 2 kids stayed here November of 2020. It was our first time at CBR. We were placed in Jamaica 5 person sleeper with water view. We absolutely loved this resort!! Yes the main pool was a longer walk but my kids ran over to the pool because the loved the bigger pool. Our meals at Banana Cabana were amazing!! Loved the cast members serving us! I was so amazed how easy it was to walk from our room to the Skyliner! Easy Peasy!!! We will be back to this resort!!
It is crazy to me that they are charging more for those pirate rooms. We used Priceline Express (where they don't tell you which hotel you got until after you booked) for a pretty last minute trip in January of 2020 and ended up at CBR in a pirate room - I assume becuase they were unsold. We loved everything about CBR EXCEPT that the beds in that pirate room are laughably uncomfortable. This was our babymoon trip so I was about 17 weeks pregnant and my husband and I ended up sleeping each on a separate bed in the room becuase that was the only way it was barable.
AJ didn’t mention in this but has in others that the beds there are standard twins or something smaller than the Queen beds you get in the rest of the resort.
I'm glad at the end you gave your honest opinion. I hate watching videos when they say, it's up to you! I really wanted to know what you thought and this was great.
I personally really like Caribbean Beach resort! Even the bus rides didn’t seem super long. It is a short bus ride to Disney Springs too which was convenient for eating meals. I also stayed in Aruba and it was so convenient because of the skyliner, and if you stay there and get on the Riveria skyliner stop you can go directly to Epcot which was nice. We also were lucky and had our room be right next to a bus stop. In my experience I preferred to be close to transportation versus the main lobby because we were always in more of a hurry to get to transportation and get to the parks than to walk to the pool, gift shop, or restaurants. Just my thoughts!
I've stayed there before and would stay there again if the price was right, but only in a preferred room, as any other room is too far away from the main building.
My family of five stayed in March. My 14yr old son (5'6) slept comfortably on the Murphy bed. Mainly because we were wore out every night. Though I would admit, and he would agree, that after this year the bed would be to small. The Skyliner is definitely a main feature. The atmosphere is pretty fun.
Although the food options don’t match other moderates, remember that the Riviera resort is on the same site and you can eat there too. So it actually has Deluxe food options available as well as Moderate.
We’re probably going to only eat there on our arrival day and from what I’ve seen about Sebastian and Banana Cabana, I think the food options are fine. Is Port Orleans known for better? Sure. No doubt Coronado has better food, but not the kind my kids will want and the transportation option there isn’t great. If my wife and I were to go together without the kids, I think that’s where we’d stay if we could get a standard room in the new tower there
We stayed there this September and it worked for us. Loved going out of our room, cross our courtyard in the Aruba section to the water and watching the fireworks from Hollywood Studious with the beautiful Rivera Resort. The Skyliner was fun going to/from Hollywood and Epcot and grabbing a coffee at Joffee's! The staff at Sebastion was great and took care of my sister's food allergy.
We stayed there before the skyliner, so that’s a bonus now. If you have small children that want to go to the cool pool it’s a long walk or a cold bus ride from some rooms
Just stayed at Caribbean Beach last week, near the Riviera Skyliner Station and not very close to one of it's towers. The HUM of the Skyliner can be heard inside our ground floor room. Me? I loved it (I like a bit of white noise to help me sleep). Also: Don't park your car directly under one of the towers unless you want your car to get speckled with greasy black dew drops from the cable sheaves above.
I just stayed in a pirate room over Halloween and had no complaints! Would definitely consider staying here again just to use the Skyliner. There was absolutely no line any morning or night and the speed and ease of it was incredible! Definitely beats any other transportation that Disney has to offer.
We enjoy staying at the Coronado and the Caribbean Beach. We don't have kids, so we do enjoy the themes and "less kids" being around is a perk for us! The distance from the main buildings can be a pain, but we don't mind the walk on occasion. We typically don't eat at the resort quick-services anyway. The skyliner was a great addition to this resort, making it a go-to choice for us.
I stayed there in June for a resort only stay. It was awesome. It’s two for one in a way as the Riviera is pretty much part of the complex. Don’t bother with the Pirate Rooms they’re smaller and the furthest away from the lobby/main pool and cost more than a preferred room
This was great! My husband and I stayed in Aruba at Caribbean Beach on our honey moon in 1994, so this brought back a lot of nice memories. Thank you for sharing!!
Just got back from our first stay at a Disney Resort and this was it. We were in building 24 of Martinique. We loved how it was just a short walk to the Skyliner and loved how we were the FIRST stop in the morning for the bus. Food at Banana Cabana was great. The pool there looked amazing but we didn't have any time to use it. I would stay there again.
THANK YOU!! I'll be checking in in 24 days! I'm excited to give it a try. We love the skyliner and will be coming after a week in the Bahamas, so it keeps our theme going.
Don't do it! My bad review here is being censored (imagine that). "The best thing about CBR is the proximity to the Skyliner." Really?? Would you normally stay at a place where the best thing about it is how close it is to the subway? That's all the Skyliner is, only you have to wait forever for it. Don't do it!
@@tviolette2000 Really?? I would totally stay close to a place near the subway in NYC. Way more convenient! Especially if it had a tropical feel and palm trees!
@@angelazuspan6302 Don't think you read what I said... My point was that the "best" thing about it is how close it is to the transportation. Not the restaurants, not the other amenities and scenery etc. Look, you want to stay there, consider yourself warned.
We stayed there the week before thanksgiving and the skyliner and the pineapple coconut bread pudding from banana cabana totally made it worth it to stay there.
Stay at CRB in 2019 we loved it! My husband, parents and I loved the island feel and the kids also loved the main pool! We stayed in Jamaica and enjoyed the walk to OPR every morning for breakfast! The no elevator was a bummer with a 2 year old and stroller because we were on the second floor. But was still magical!
CBR is our "home resort" and we LOVE it. Centertown is much better than AJ talks about (the Cuban sandwich is a fave on every trip), the Skyliner rules and being so close to the Riviera is a big bonus that she didn't talk enough about. We've stayed in the Aruba and Martinique sections and loved each experience. Highly recommended!
Hi, I'm not sure when you last visited but if it was recently I have a question. Me and my family visited carribean beach in August 2018. During this time, the main food hall in center town was under construction. Due to this, all of the food was buffet style, which my family really enjoyed. Do you know, if the construction work is complete, if it is still buffet style, or is it something different. Also is spyglass grill still there?
@@ryanatfield9910 There is no construction going on anymore. The quick service is not buffet-style, however Sebastian’s Bistro is “family style” where they will bring you more. Spyglass hasn’t reopened yet, but with the Riviera next door, there are a bunch more food options that make everything that much better. The flatbreads at Primo Piatto are fantastic.
We LOVE CBR! We stayed in 2018 and have another stay booked for 2023. We love the skyliner and use it to visit CBR on every trip even if we are staying elsewhere. I recommend Aruba 51 Or Jamaica 45. Easy to get to both skyliner stations and also a very short walk over the island to the main pool and dining. The Coke Freestyle machines in each village are great for mug refills.
I stayed there last summer. It’s fine for two people but it would be a tight fit for more. The rooms are small and dated. The plus it’s close to Epcot and Hollywood studios and you have a Skyliner station.
We really enjoyed staying at the Caribbean Beach May 2021 and we loved it! One thing I want to point out is in the video she states you need to take towels from your room or the main pool to the smaller pools. That's not true. They had towels available. Also she states you need to go to the main pool to a swimming vest. Also not true at all. They had vests at our pool for our 6 year old son. They might want to double check the video at 13:08, where the life jacket rack is in plain sight at a smaller pool.
We were going to stay there on our next trip in January, but then I found out the skyliner will be closed when we’re there. So… we switched to The Swan (less price than Disney deluxes, but still some “perks” - what little we have now anyway).
@@aliviahill2735 I was disappointed at first, but that’s ok we’ll make it there someday! I’m getting excited about the Swan. We like to stay at different resorts each trip.
@@brianrhester yep! And I didn’t know that when I booked, so imagine my delight when I found out lol! And we just happened to have the parks reserved on the right days!
We stayed at the Caribbean back in '93 when we were kids. Our parents let me and my brother choose our hotel and we chose it for the awesome pool. Wish they had the pirate treasure hunt back then, although I still would have been too old!
When I booked it was Caribbean or Coronado. Most was closed to reservations for covid. I stayed here once .. 12 years ago? I liked it then. We will see this time... 26 days and counting!
Some people set the Disney Bar very high and yes I get that you spend a considerable amount of money but Disney is such a great experience, on the other hand I think anyone staying in the Summer season will have a bit of a negative experience where as someone staying in October will love it.
When i stayed at this resort I I was on the ground floor and I had a beach right outside my hotel room and I spent most of my day in the hammock and I loved it so much
I've stayed their twice, but probably won't again. I prefer buses in the morning because I don't want to fight a big line before I even got to a theme park. In fact, the last thing I want to do in the morning is take a long walk from one village to the end of the line of the Skyliner to wait to board it. It is nice during off-hours. I'm pretty much shifting to renting vacation houses these days anyway.
Thank you for sharing this I just recently got a job at this resort in quick service food have not started yet I'm so excited to even work for the company. on my vacation I have walked past this place just looking at everything and other videos I have watched on RUclips do not even go into detail and information The way you do thank you for sharing this video
This absolutely needs to be a series! What a great video from the DFB team we know and trust! Amazing info and visuals for new people and others like me who has a fav hotel but looking to branch out! Love, love, love this! Please do more with the other hotels!
Just want to say thank you for making this video and for everyone commenting about their experiences there! First time trip to WDW in May and staying at CBR, so it's good to hear the advice as to what to consider when there, particularly room location!
We loved staying at the Caribbean Beach Resort. We were in the Aruba village and we were very close to the Riviera Skyliner.. We ate ar Sebastians but we also utilized the Riviera's restaurants. I've stayed at Port Orleans Riverside and I would say I enjoyed Caribbean beach just as much.
We were there last week and stayed in a preferred room at Martinique. The A/C wouldn’t turn off even when I switched it off. Our stay was for seven days and housekeeping did little besides restocking towels. The only thing that made it worth it was the skyliner rides to and from Epcot after eating and drinking ourselves into a coma. 😂
My family and I love Caribbean beach! We’ve stayed every year for the last three years (even April 2021 during Covid). All the critiques are valid, especially the food. However, the skyliner is amazing for families with small children. We have a 1 and 4 year old who need naps, so being able to come back after lunch then park hop using the skyliner is amazing. Mid day, between 2-5pm there’s literally no line so getting back to Hollywood studios and and Epcot is so fast.
Stayed there in 2019. We got a pirate room which wasn't my choice but my kids loved it. They also LOVED the pool. I thought Sabastians was tasty and enjoyed the quick service there. Skyliner was almost open but that would have been awesome to use. Cons were that it's really spread out. We were in probably furthest room from main area/pool and it was a 15 minute hike. Pirate beds weren't comfortable at all for two adults either.
Absolutely loooove this resort!! Last time I stayed there was in 2019. Riviera was not complete yet, but looked amazing. I really enjoy taking a nice leisurely walk around the resort after a long day in the park just to kind of wind down before bed. I know what you're thinking A.J.; really more walking? It's just that it's so calm, peaceful and beautiful late at night; and that walk kinda relaxes me. This is my go to. Can't wait to go back in May 2022 and experience the Riviera Resort too. Oh, and the skyline was not operational the last time either...another Caribbean Beach Resort perk. Usually don't eat here, but going to try Sebastian's this time if they are still offering the "All you care to eat" option. Ok A.J., we agree to disagree on this one...lol
Stayed there many years ago (2012) and I have to say I remember the whole experience as incredibly pleasant. The busses that would pick you up and take you to various destinations (including restaurants) was particularly nice... but that wad a long time ago lmfao
We stayed here in December 2020 and absolutely LOVED it! We were in the Jamaica section and close to the skyliner. The only downside, was that you could hear the skyliner begin operating/testing very early in the morning. If you are a light sleeper, you might not want to be right on the line.
Stayed there December 2020 with my 3 granddaughters. Did love the skyliner location. We were in Aruba. However, about a 10 minute walk to main pool and restaurant. And, tons of bus stops taking forever to get home at night when tired. Not sure if I will stay there again. We stayed at Pop in October and my granddaughters loved it way more.
I remember staying here several years ago. Ironically, we stayed there because it was the 2nd cheapest Disney hotel available at the time. I enjoyed it. It was summertime. Not sure if I would stay here during the holidays. This was also before Covid.. I can't imagine having to wait hours to get to Magic Kingdom due to a bull bus!
I want to say I like this resort in general. However, I hate the buses. We paid the extra money to stay in the pirate rooms and waited almost 2 hours for some buses. Now we know to take the internal to Martinique or Aruba. We stayed again in a regular room and it was so beaten up that it was hard to stomach we paid for it. This was after they remodeled. The pool is hands down the best. My son absolutely loves it.
If the 5th sleeper beds are the sane size as the ones at Riverside, which it appears they are, then an adult can sleep in them fine as long as they curl up. Speaking from experience as the third adult in a group of three adults and two kids 😅
When it was time for us to book our latest trip, it was between 2 adjoining pirate rooms at CB or a Cars family suite at AOA for our party of 6. Ultimately we chose AOA over CB because of the bad reputation of the busing system at CB and how expansive the resort is. I’ve also heard many people say that the pull out beds and murphy beds at AOA are surprisingly more comfortable than the pirate ship beds. I like a soft fluffy mattress and everyone keeps telling me those pirate ship beds are so hard! 😖 I also think my kids will enjoy the theming more at AOA.
I think you made the right call. The pirate beds are smaller (standard or twin) and I thinK AOA is closer to a true Murphy bed. I was really on the fence about AOA, but we couldn’t swing the higher price for a family suite. Besides, it’s not like you can’t resort hop via the Skyliner and try Sebastian’s or the Rivera if you want. Have a great trip!
We like to go rope drop to fireworks and leave everything out there in the parks. Huge hike to the room would be a dealbreaker for me. Thanks for affirming I should go somewhere else. So cute though!
We do love CBR and end up there most trips (we always stay moderate). My daughter, since she was a little, has loved the tropical vibe. I have always put it just a notch below the Port Orleans resorts. But I must say the Skyliner really tips CBR over the top for me now as well. I honestly can’t imagine going back to Port Orleans now just because of the skyliner alone. And we do always walk over to the Martinique bus stop for AK and MK - so sad AJ let the world in on the secret! 🏝
We love CB ! even more so if you are just using a resort more as a hotel and hub for park days. stadard rooms are close to the skyliner stations and the busses have never been as crowded as POP or ArtOfAnimation... The biggest iffy thing about it is YOU HAVE TO GET A GROUND LEVEL ROOM IF YOU HAVE STROLLERS.
Confession I am 18 and i slept on the Murphy bed in the Caribbean Beach resort. It was not bad but my feet hanged over the side. I thought it was fine but i did rope drop to close every day and the Magic Kingdom was open till 11 pm while I was there so was not getting much sleep anyway.
We have stayed here at 5 times since the reopening of the parks for the only reason of the sky-liner. We find nothing great with the rooms but having the sky-liner makes it worth it. I do have to say we have has some of our worst experiences of all time here with the buses. We even missed an hour and a half of the opening night of BOO Bash because of the buses where we ending up hiring an uber and coming in on the monorail from the transportation center. We usual stay in building 32 in Barbados, it's a short walk to the sky-liner, main building and Barbados bus stop.
I have never even been to Disney World, but CBR looks like it would be great for a split stay for me. Maybe go there first, and idk where second. Somewhere close to the park I guess. Looking forward to the new "is it worth it" series!!
There are 4 parks and they are all spread out and separate so you won’t have one resort close to all 4. Cbr is great because it has the skyliner which is a 5 minute ride to Hollywood studios and Epcot. A split stay would be great to do cbr then move to a resort close to magic kingdom
We just stayed at CBR from 12/4 - 12/10 and stayed in Jamaica. We were in building 42 and while the property is huge it's not too bad. It was about a 5 - 7 minute walk to OPR and across the street from the skyliner. AJ is right about the buses they are very hit and miss and take a long time so plan accordingly. Banana Cabana was nice but, there is a wait for a table or a to go drink. Finally, Sebastian's was great. Everything severed family style and everything we ate was amazing. The food court was ok but not great. Hold off and go eat breakfast somewhere else.

I love this resort for sentimental reasons but the rooms truly need a refresh. I think this review was spot on!
Simply put. CBR is my favorite. A combination of location and affordability. I have stayed here the my last 5 visits. My next is in January 2022.
Yessss stayed here in Trinidad in a pirate water view room and it was amazing! While Trinidad is the farthest from the lobby, it has its own bus stop, pool andddd is the closest walk to the skyliner
Is there a drink refill station for refillable mugs in Trinidad? Or do you have to walk back to the lobby?
@@whitneysims1014 yes they have a station by the pool and even a quick service food joint (the quick service was closed due to covid but drink station still working).
I stayed at Pop Century last month and got on the skyliner from the CB hub. I’ve thought about staying here next year because it was such an easy & enjoyable ride to Epcot. This video was very helpful and I’m very much looking forward to the other resort’s ‘Worth it?’ videos.
Excited for this “is it worth it…” hotel series! Also, I’m really hoping you’ll sail The Wish in 2022. 🤞
I stayed at Caribbean Beach in October and loved it. I was in the Barbados section and loved it.
Right between the skyliner and the pool/pool bar.
How long was the walk to skyliner?
@@lizsmith7529 I was in Barbados building 31
Less than a 5 minute walk for 2 adults with no strollers or large bags
Less than 10 minute stroll to the pool
I do walk fast though
My only gripe with Caribbean beach is I wish they really gave it flavor from the islands. Flags, distinct flavors, food and music on the property. For explain the Trinidad village should do mini carnivals. Jamaica should play instrumental reggae and offer amazing food. Martinique should real emphasize water preservation and exploring. Aruba could play into their marinetime history. They should all have history laced into theme.
That would be so amazing!
We will be at CBR at the same time . Have a great vacation and safe travels
Thanks
.
I'm going back here with my family the summer of 2022 and I'm so excited. I loved it there.
I think it was definitely worth it. Easy skyliner access bus stop was easy to find. Don’t regret it one bit. And lunch is great !
Do you mind me asking how old your kids were and did they manage ok with the walking? 😬
I heard they are replacing the pirate beds because people complain about them so much
We were originally allocated a pirate room but being 6'4 I thought no way am I going to fit In that so have now changed our room
My family adores CBR!! The kids love it and my husband really enjoy the vibe!
I've stayed there before and would stay there again if the price was right, but only in a preferred room, as any other room is too far away from the main building.
Yes! It’s a massive resort. Which Disney resort is your usual go-to?
My family of five stayed in March. My 14yr old son (5'6) slept comfortably on the Murphy bed. Mainly because we were wore out every night. Though I would admit, and he would agree, that after this year the bed would be to small. The Skyliner is definitely a main feature. The atmosphere is pretty fun.
Glad to hear that. I intend to put my 15yo daughter (5'2") in it when we go and got a bit worried.
I intend on putting my 11 yo boy on the Murphy bed. This comment made me feel better about it?
Although the food options don’t match other moderates, remember that the Riviera resort is on the same site and you can eat there too. So it actually has Deluxe food options available as well as Moderate.
We’re probably going to only eat there on our arrival day and from what I’ve seen about Sebastian and Banana Cabana, I think the food options are fine. Is Port Orleans known for better? Sure. No doubt Coronado has better food, but not the kind my kids will want and the transportation option there isn’t great. If my wife and I were to go together without the kids, I think that’s where we’d stay if we could get a standard room in the new tower there
Stayed in 2017 on my honeymoon and I loved it. Even while it was under construction
The Skyliner definitely adds a lot of value to all the resorts in that area! 🚠 Glad to hear you had such a great trip!
I think I'll be checking in just a day before you! Have a great time in the Bahamas.
@@LadyJoolree Cool! Have a great trip!
I loved staying here! My boyfriend and I stayed in Jamaica and it was PERFECT!!
@@mattduwe4965 thanks very much! I can't wait to get my hands on some more mickey waffles
Great review! Appreciate the deep dive into building locations.
We loved staying at CBR. The skyliner hub out weighed the bus issue for us. Would stay there again if the opportunity comes around.
SUPER helpful thank you!
We love Caribbean Beach. It's our favorite resort for transportation options and the price and we honestly like the food options.
Absolutely worth it, especially the pirate room. Sebastians bistro is excellent too
We really enjoyed staying at the Caribbean Beach May 2021 and we loved it!
Don’t forget about the per night resort fee at The Swan.
We did the same, but changed our dates (we had the wiggle room) so we still have the Skyliner in our plans.
@@aliviahill2735 I was disappointed at first, but that’s ok we’ll make it there someday! I’m getting excited about the Swan. We like to stay at different resorts each trip.
And now you’ll also qualify for evening extended hours, too!
I stayed here in May of 2021 and loved it! Yes, it is huge and there is a lot of walking but I loved it anyway. The Skyliner is a definite plus!
We stayed at Carribean beach a couple of weeks ago and can't recommend it enough, loved every minute of it
It’s a great option! 🌴
I love Caribbean I always stay there
Some people set the Disney Bar very high and yes I get that you spend a considerable amount of money but Disney is such a great experience, on the other hand I think anyone staying in the Summer season will have a bit of a negative experience where as someone staying in October will love it.
@@danielflynn8530 so interesting you say that I vacation in October. Interesting never been during summer.
An excellent and even-handed view of CB.
I love these deep dives on specific hotels, AJ! Very helpful!
I can't wait to go back to Disney!!
Love CBR! staying there again in 2022
Thank you for sharing this I just recently got a job at this resort in quick service food have not started yet I'm so excited to even work for the company. on my vacation I have walked past this place just looking at everything and other videos I have watched on RUclips do not even go into detail and information The way you do thank you for sharing this video
This absolutely needs to be a series! What a great video from the DFB team we know and trust! Amazing info and visuals for new people and others like me who has a fav hotel but looking to branch out! Love, love, love this! Please do more with the other hotels!
My family has stayed here 3 times- we liked it alot-- wish there were more selections u coud order from room service
With the light refreshed rooms and the Under The Sea Rooms that replaced the Pirate Rooms- I think you need to do an updated video
This was my first Disney resort I stayed at 🤩🌟
CBR is ALWAYS worth it! It's has one of the best pools in all WDW resorts, and the best resort just to take a stroll around!
My home resort on Disney property going again in 6 days for my January 2024 trip this time staying for 8 nights
I trained there for my home hotel for quick service food. It’s a amazing hotel.
If the 5th sleeper beds are the sane size as the ones at Riverside, which it appears they are, then an adult can sleep in them fine as long as they curl up. Speaking from experience as the third adult in a group of three adults and two kids 😅
Perfect outside of all the walking!
YES! An awesome resort if you love a good waterfront walk. 🌴
Have stayed at CBR 2 years in a row. It is an enjoyable resort. Yes, it is big, but my first love is Fort Wilderness ;) CBR is smaller.
Thanks @@brianrhester !
My 14 year old loved the Murphy Bed and was comfortable in it
We like to go rope drop to fireworks and leave everything out there in the parks.
I thought it was fine but i did rope drop to close every day and the Magic Kingdom was open till 11 pm while I was there so was not getting much sleep anyway.
you said it right its carribean, im one so very proud of the pronunciation
Will try it next Summer, because we are a Family of 5. It seems lovely. The Bus seems to be a Problem in every moderate Resort.
Stayed there a year ago and it was great! I recommend Jamaica. ✨👌
So fun! Did you get to try any food while you were there?
We just had sebastions and it was incredible, maybe give it another try!
i stayed there last year and it was awesome regardless
Glad you enjoyed your stay, Reece!
