I living in ZhongShan China where is my hometown, when i open window can see this brigde crossing the estuary . And another 2 Bridges. and 2 HSR(ShenZhen To Jiangmen HSR ), 1 metro (Line 18 from Guangzhou to Zhongshan) is building in this area now.

For seven years, I've seen this work start and finish, and this afternoon I can drive up and feel this great project, feel the tunnel under the sea.
Incredible speed is that it took 7 years. No other engineering in the world can do these. If other countries do it, it will take 30 years to complete.
They already have experiece building the similar, longer Zhuhai HK Macau bridge in 9 years.
And 10 times the cost😂😂😂

The whole of Shenzhen is a wonder. It was a fishing village 35 years ago. Now its a metropolis of 15 million people and a crime rate of almost 0. I lived there, its hot so expect heat and humidity but its an amazing City, superb design in every aspect. The reality is, thats China for you, every City in China is a wonder now really, the whole country is stunning.

God blessed this country with natural resources and it's people with high IQ (intelligence/wisdom) a heart of hard work. Arabs and Europeans enslaved Africans back then just to exploit us. Our roads and other infrastructure in Uganda here, the Chinese are involved in the good work, I know they also do that for a benefit but in the end both parties gain,this shows humanity & generosity . Every tour bus have cameras to monitor the drivers & passengers. The police can monitor everyone inside to ensure no rowdy behaviour during travelling. The live feed are important to determine who is at fault during an accident. Without the cams, police will have to figure out if the driver is sleepy/drowsy or the external party is at fault.

When i was making a transfer in Shenzhen a couple of years ago, after the planes took off, I could see the other similar bridge from the sky ( I think that one is from shenzhen to hongkong). The bridge looked like a dragon from the air . It was a truly amazing experience! 🎉🎉🎉 it’s any civil engineer’s dream to really see and experience these remarkable projects !!!

The proposed Jinmen-Xianmen （China mainland to Jinmen,Taiwan bridge）is 11.4 kms only with $1.8 billion budget, its will become a piece of cake and finished in no time if it starts with China’s bridge building capacity. Even with the proposed mainland China-Taiwan tunnel of 120 -150 kms length (Taiwan Strait tunnel project) , expected budget of $55-69 billion (China has spent a whopping $27.5 billion on Hangzhou for the past Asia games alone, its almost to equal of 4-5 ford classes aircraft carrier cost of $13 billions each),peoples from both side can take high speed trains to see each other and connected forever by land ever since, there was even a song in China called “ riding a HST from Beijing-Taipei in 2035 which has become very populous.
You have to get permission from America, Washington DC first because Americans own Taiwan.

This section is testing tomorrow, the other section which was already operational goes to Macau. Its quite freaky if you go on the Shenzhen- Macau ferry, to see this bridge in the ocean is stunning it literally just goes on forever and vanishes into the distance again. It was utterly fascinating just staring at it from the boat I've never seen anything quite like it.

the US Military Budget for 2024 is $825 BILLION usd, well, the publicized amount anyway. China's 2024 Military Budget was RAISED to $222 BILLION usd. the 2nd Highest Budget after the US.
China can equal USA's military budget if it wants to but instead it is spending the $600 BILLION usd difference for Public Works and Infrastructure instead. and that includes building paved roads and high speed rail in even it's remotes rural areas.
Whatever major faults China has, which it does, this ONE THING is not one of them.

I take a photo for ShenZhong Birdge when is 2020, never thought it can be done by 2024.
And here in India I sometimes hear a normal and simple Bridge collapse because some materials which was supposed to be used in the Bridge building was stolen.
