I thought Sakura would surely be the center even though I didn't watch PD 48 always. But I saw she ranked 2 and I thought like " Awww, may be the Koreans have weird thoughts to make the Japanese girl to be the center of the Kpop group. I really thought like this.
Even if Sakura would have be the center I don't think she could have made the same notes and strong, decent steps as Wonyoung. She is attractive as a center, but lacks a lot. In Jp debut I felt like she fit better on Japanese lyrics. Between Sakura and Wonyoung, I really prefr Wonyoung bc she has better training and it's also catchy. However, I would also like her to just be herlfself and don't try to be cute or use a cute voice. Is annoying

Illariy Moya Kpop is much more similar to apop than we think tbh, it focus on working on talent and than working this talent into a group while Jpop works to make cute girls that work well together but the talent is the last priority, some of them may not be good but the stronger girls cover them up. Sakura is improving (Her fancams for La vie en Rose looked great) and i think that she is getting close to Wonyoung level, and, tbh, i think a 14 year old girl having the pressure of National Center is too much, i already felt bad for Somi but she had the talents and was like 17 years old, she is way more mature and ready for this type of mental pressure. Imagine if they put cameras everywhere you went when you were 14, they would see some shit now imagine the WHOLE COUNTRY having the power to see it. That is also a reason I wanted Sakura, she is young but she is 21, she can handle not fucking up so much because she had more time to learn how not to. I feel that Sakura star power is the best out of all the girls from IZ*ONE, and i think that makes the center, well the center. It calls your eye, they have this aura around them that i think Wonyoung is developing and i hope she will get to that point your eyes glue on her and almost can’t leave but, right now, it’s not comparable to Sakura.
I don't know why they can't praise yena so much where in fact she's a total all-rounder idol? They appreciate others too much but when it comes to Yena they just brush it off which makes me sad. She's a perfect idol with that talent and personality. Please appreciate her too because she deserve everything.
also, CHOI YENA can be a main dancer, main vocalist, and main rapper. Don't disregard her talent. Yeah, she may have showcased her 4D personality a lot during the show but she's not just her personality. bish, she's like yoojung. the ideal of idols.
I love Yena but at best she can only be a Main Vocalist and maybe a Main Rapper. She falls just a tid bit short to be Main Dancer. She's a great dancer but not at par with the likes of Chaeyeon, Momo, Lisa, Seulgi, SinB, etc.
what i love about yena is that she knows DAMN WELL that just pure talent wont be enough to make it into the final line up, and she took advantage of her personality and character to stand out. she's very smart in terms of making knets swoon.
Chowon was always pretty since beginning till end and I feel like she could suit any kind of concept and is really talented. I feel like she had to be part of iz*one all I have now is to wait and hope she debuts soon in any company and makes a hit to keep on supporting her.
my top 12 1. Lee Chayeon - two words. dancing machine. 2. Kim Chaewon - She can sing and dance. She's talented. 3. Choi Yena - Talented aswell. Singer, rapper, dancer. 4. Honda Hitomi - Talented, and cute :3 5. Kwon Eunbi - She's a great singer and leader, and a visual. 6. Han Chowon - how could they let go such talent :( 7. Miyawaki Sakura - Visual, but dancing isn't really her forte. 8. Lee Gaeun/Kaeun - The talent, she should've debuted. 9. Yabuki Nako - literally the cutest thing EVER 10. Takahashi Juri - I was cheering for her as I was watching PD48 :) 11. Jo Yuri - she's pretty cool, she deserves to debut and I expected her to debut. I didn't expect her to be 3rd, just like in the video. 12. Wang Yiren - not expected, but she was pretty talented too. She showed so much more of her talent when she debuted in Everglow, and she would probably do as good if she was in IZ*ONE. regardless of my *sorta* dissapointment from the final ranking, I still do stan IZ*ONE and always will. i still think lee chaeyeon deserves better.
Ofc everyone wants their favorite trainee to debut. Each and everyone of the trainee deserves to debut. But most of the IZ*ONE members are improving more than before. I didn’t really think that the final lineup is gonna be good at first but now? I think the lineup is great. Although many disqualified trainees supposed the debut but who am I to judge anyway. They have reasons to debut.
I’m actually glad that Hyewon and Minjoo is in the group. When the Violeta mv came out and I heard them sing and rap, I saw how much they improved and it made me so happy to see people finally recognizing how much those two improved.

This is literally so old but Idc My ideal lineup was 1) Sakura. Personally don't like her but I think she has the best center talent and I think having a Japanese center would've been iconic 2) Kaeun. Literally I hate Mnet they robbed her. 3) Chaeyeon. why was she ranked so low. She saves the group in many aspects tbh 4) Yena. Iconic personality, amazing singer, rapper and dancer. Staple in the group imo 5) Wonyoung. I personally think she should make the final lineup but not be center. She is a good center but I don't really consider her the ultimate 'Face of the group', I feel like she gets outshined by other members. 6) Yujin. I feel like she was a staple. Like everyone kind of expected her to make it, which i don't mind. She's funny and talented so she should be in the group, similar with Yena. 7) Eunbi. Obviously. leader best girl. Same as Yujin and Yena 8) Nako, I love her she is best girl. Literally if you don't like Nako or think she shouldn't have made it don't talk to me. 9) Chowon Also robbed 10) Miru Also robbed 11/12) Last two are between 4 people for me, Hitomi, Chaewon, Yuri and Miyu. I am literally unable to decide so idk pick your poison. If it were up to me, I'd go for Yuri and Hitomi, but I would feel the other members got robbed still no matter the outcome. I didn't add Minju and Hyewon because they didn't strike me as talented musically compared to my other choices, and I personally feel like they were chosen just because they were pretty and Koreans are hard for pretty people over talented people. You could argue for Minju tbh and I could see her as 12th, but Hyewon was a weird underdog for me. it would've been cooler if in Izone she was the rapper, I would've been more okay with it then. After Violeta my opinion has loosened up on Hyewon and Minju. I could see one of them being in my ideal final lineup but not both of them tbh. Hitomi reminded me of Nako in that they literally sing the same parts in songs, and vocally nothing significantly separates her from Nako. Hitomi's natural growth over the show makes me really like her tho, and want her to be in the lineup Miyu reminds me of Yujin a lot at first glance at least so it's kinda hard for me to pick her too. Chaewon and Yuri literally look like the same person to me. I like Yuri more but Chaewon was so overlooked in P48 it makes me happy she's in the final lineup. Chaewon is a very underrated dancer and an unappreciated vocal. She is one of the best dancers in IZ*ONE and she is the second best vocal in IZ*ONE and could easily be a main vocal in another group
Even though the line up isn’t exactly what we wanted after almost a year I couldn’t be happier with IZ*ONE. The girls have such good chemistry and I can’t even imagine any other girls in IZ*ONE anymore. It was controversial at first but clearly it worked out in the end. Please support IZ*ONE in their comeback Violetta and support all the PD48 girls in their other activities (Cherry Bullet, fromis_9, Everglow, all the 48 groups, etc.)

Minju and Hyewon didn't deserve to be in the final lineup that night. But look at Minju now, she's improved so much with her confidence, and her visual is blooming (watch Heart*IZ teaser and see Minju wrecking people's bias list) plus she is so funny. Hyewon, to me, still doesn't deserve that spot, she still lacks facial expressions on stage. But I can see her chemistry with other members when I watch Iz*one chu. As long as they stay happy together and do well as the name Iz*one means, I'm happy with the final lineup. Last thing, shout out to ppl who voted for Chaewon, she's such a top tier dancer and top tier vocal with such a beautiful voice. She is so talented, just lacked screentime in PD48 but Im sure now ppl have recognized her value in Iz*one.
For me Hyewon didn't deserve to be in the final line-up. Also, Chaeyeon had to at least be in Hyewon's position and Hyewon in Chaeyeon's, because there, the talent gap is a lot. Hyewon only won for her visuals (no offense).
Chae Yeon and eun bi are carrying IZ*ONE and finally someone who agrees that Sakura ist at best mediocre and Hye Won is just bad but I personally really like Min Ju.

Honestly, right now, I'm so thankful for IZ*ONE's lineup. Wonyoung is so sweet and talented as a 14 year old, besides she can speak in English and she is very versatile. She's my ultimate bias since as a fellow 14-year-old, she inspires me to do my best in what I want. Sakura is so charming and adorable and people are crazy over her so it's amazing. Yuri....VOCAL QUEEN. From one line Yuri of Idol School to Main Vocal of IZ*ONE. Her vocal range is awesome and I love it. Yena. Thriple threat. Main Rapper, Lead Dancer, Lead Vocal. That's all. Yujin...I love that's she's in. Her vocals are so stable. She looks so elegant on stage. And it's not IZ*ONE without Prince Yujin. Nako is such a pearl and she's so adorable and her voice is everything she deserves all the love NAKO CHAAAAN Kwon Eunbi = Queen Eunbi. That's all I have to say for our leader-nim I'm happy rn for Hyewon. Her visuals are mesmerizing. She could play various instruments. And her deep voice adds an addictive factor ("rubibeoda deo" from LVER and "neo neo neo" in Violeta) so I don't mind her lack of stage presence that much. And she snapped so bad in the LVER dance break oh my kang hyewon Hitomi....cute face and voice, yet sharp dancing and ABS?? gAHD Chaewon is such an angel. Her vocals and dancing are so underrated it makes me angry mORE LOVE TO OUR WOOLIM GIRLS. Minju's beauty is drop dead gorgeous, her stage presence has improved so much she can step on me and I'm going to thank her, her rap in Violeta is so cool and her soft raps are love. lastly, Chaeyeon....sigh. my ideal lineup- Eunchae Choyeon Haeyoon Haeun Chaeyeon Chowon Chaewon Yuri Kaeun Nako Noe Hitomi Reasoning- Eunchae- She was amazing in the instruction performance and is so great at dancing and expression. Choyeon- She is extremely stable while singing and dancing and is amazing at both. Haeyoon- She is an amazing singer with great expression; no doubt about it. Haeun- She was grossly underrated but her first audition was amazing. She is insanely good in everything, just look up her audition. Chaeyeon- Of course, she is so talented and was born to be an idol. From her singing to dancing she is great. Chowon- She really turned it around for herself and showed how she is so talented even though she had a low ranking. Chaewon- She is insanely pretty and really caught my eye in the into the new world performance. I hadn’t really noticed her before that but her vocals are killer. Yuri- Obviously, she’s an awesome singer and I’m really glad she made it. Kaeun- As many were, I was really suprised she didn’t make it. She is very, very talented and would have been a great addition to the group. Nako- She is so cute and a great singer, and I was so, so happy she made it. Noe- I was surprised she got eliminated fairly early since she was really popular in the beginning. I love her happy energy. Hitomi- She is very, very cute and is a great visual addition to the group. tbh yena is really underrated? she's not just a variety girl that people see,, ppl overlook her talent a lot and she's super all rounded. however about the final lineup, i am happy but i miss some from the top 30 who got eliminated after that. i was salty about minju for a while and suprised that kaeun didn't debut but the lineup overall is good, didn't expect chaewon to debut although im glad she did
i think the reason why hyewon got into the group besides her visuals was because she improved a lot in the show . they might not show that she practiced and improved a lot because of mnet but i think knetizens saw her visuals and her craving for improvement
They’re rankings before the final announcement literally did not add up, even earlier in the show the voting counts didn’t add up either. If I could make one change, I would have switched Hyewon out and placed Chaeyeon in her ranking, then put Chowon in Chaeyeon’s final ranking. Excited for Miyu who got picked up by Mystic Entertainment tho

IMO Izone is perfect with these 12 girls and they all deserved it. And the ones who weren't in the show that good have improved and that is something people should adore!
I didn't watch the show actively, and I only watched stuff from youtube. So when the line up was announced, I didn't know like half of the members and none of my picks actually made it in lmao
These videos are just a way to bash hyewon and minju... Hyewon was forced to rap in pd48 and she fucking tried her best to do her role as a rapper and she embraced that role throughout the show. Minju was average yes, but nobody could do killing parts better than her in the show. These types of videos will also talk about how mnet rigged the results. First of all, no... First things first wonyoung got first over sakura. Why? Wonyoung was better at center than sakura. As much as I wanted sakura to get number 1, wonyoung outperforms her in most areas. Next is Yuri getting 3rd. She had a huge fanbase since idol school. Everyone who watched that show wants her to debut. She was a great singer. For Gaeun not getting in, I want to give a good reason. Asking people, who their second most favorute trainee, half of them would have said gaeun. And thats the problem. She wasnt a number one priority for most people. She would often be ranked second or third but rarely first. Just because she already has a background as an after school member, it doesnt mean she would get in easily. As for chowon, she was good, I admit but she was overhyped af. Her rapping is just shouting. Yes I said it, her raps are just shouting. Dont tell me her rap in rumor is better than yena's rap because fuck no you are delusional if you think that. As for Miyu, she is better as a solo than in a group. If ever she debuts in a group, most likely its a vocal group that focuses on ballads and softer songs. Juri and miho were not given screentime. Chaeyeon finishing 12th is the only thing that shocked me to be honest. The only reason she is that low in the rankings is because knetz think she is not good looking enough. Stupid right? But we dont know how koreans think so we cant judge their decisions.

Her and Erii to be honest was supposed to get eliminated from the very first elimination-- yeah. Y'all if you come for me on this, you just can't accept the truth. I am so happy for her debut 2. Kaeun, was robbed. She deserve to be a leader in IZ*ONE. Every evaluation, Kaeun is always at top 12, except last evaluation. She is talented than others who debut with iz*one 3. Eunbi, she is a good dancer and singer. That’s all 4. Sakura, i just want her because she have that potential to be an idol 5. Yunjin, got robbed. She is the best singer in Produce48. I am so sad when she got only 9 votes in concept evaluation. 6. Yena, she can portray all concept. She can do cute, sexy, and badass concept 7. I think it's unfair that you say that Sakura is a mediocre singer/dancer/idol in general and then go on to say that Hyewon is flat out bad at singing. She's actually better than Sakura in terms of stability and tone, and the one thing Sakura has that beats Hyewon is charisma. Additionally, for what you said about the center, I think it should actually be flipped-- Wonyoung is prettier than Sakura (by korean beauty standards) but Sakura has way more charisma than her, which makes her stand out even more.

Illariy Moya Kpop is much more similar to apop than we think tbh, it focus on working on talent and than working this talent into a group while Jpop works to make cute girls that work well together but the talent is the last priority, some of them may not be good but the stronger girls cover them up.
Sakura is improving (Her fancams for La vie en Rose looked great) and i think that she is getting close to Wonyoung level, and, tbh, i think a 14 year old girl having the pressure of National Center is too much, i already felt bad for Somi but she had the talents and was like 17 years old, she is way more mature and ready for this type of mental pressure. Imagine if they put cameras everywhere you went when you were 14, they would see some shit now imagine the WHOLE COUNTRY having the power to see it. That is also a reason I wanted Sakura, she is young but she is 21, she can handle not fucking up so much because she had more time to learn how not to.
I feel that Sakura star power is the best out of all the girls from IZ*ONE, and i think that makes the center, well the center. It calls your eye, they have this aura around them that i think Wonyoung is developing and i hope she will get to that point your eyes glue on her and almost can’t leave but, right now, it’s not comparable to Sakura.

I didn't add Minju and Hyewon because they didn't strike me as talented musically compared to my other choices, and I personally feel like they were chosen just because they were pretty and Koreans are hard for pretty people over talented people. You could argue for Minju tbh and I could see her as 12th, but Hyewon was a weird underdog for me. it would've been cooler if in Izone she was the rapper, I would've been more okay with it then.

Hitomi reminded me of Nako in that they literally sing the same parts in songs, and vocally nothing significantly separates her from Nako. Hitomi's natural growth over the show makes me really like her tho, and want her to be in the lineup
Miyu reminds me of Yujin a lot at first glance at least so it's kinda hard for me to pick her too.
Chaewon and Yuri literally look like the same person to me. I like Yuri more but Chaewon was so overlooked in P48 it makes me happy she's in the final lineup.
I'm still a firm believer that Chowon, Kaeun, and Miru should've been in the final lineup but whatevs I guess.

Minju and Hyewon didn't deserve to be in the final lineup that night. But look at Minju now, she's improved so much with her confidence, and her visual is blooming (watch Heart*IZ teaser and see Minju wrecking people's bias list) plus she is so funny.
Hyewon, to me, still doesn't deserve that spot, she still lacks facial expressions on stage. But I can see her chemistry with other members when I watch Iz*one chu. As long as they stay happy together and do well as the name Iz*one means, I'm happy with the final lineup.
Last thing, shout out to ppl who voted for Chaewon, she's such a top tier dancer and top tier vocal with such a beautiful voice. She is so talented, just lacked screentime in PD48 but Im sure now ppl have recognized her value in Iz*one.

IMHO, I think Hyewon was only chosen for her visuals. And it's not to offend, but she took many talented girls off PD48 for me.
TBH, loved the top 12. 11 out of my top 12 made it in. I wasn't expecting Minju but after the debut and variety, loved her so much

Choyeon- She is extremely stable while singing and dancing and is amazing at both.
Haeyoon- She is an amazing singer with great expression; no doubt about it.
Haeun- She was grossly underrated but her first audition was amazing. She is insanely good in everything, just look up her audition.
Chaeyeon- Of course, she is so talented and was born to be an idol. From her singing to dancing she is great.
Chowon- She really turned it around for herself and showed how she is so talented even though she had a low ranking.
Chaewon- She is insanely pretty and really caught my eye in the into the new world performance. I hadn’t really noticed her before that but her vocals are killer.
Yuri- Obviously, she’s an awesome singer and I’m really glad she made it.
Kaeun- As many were, I was really suprised she didn’t make it. She is very, very talented and would have been a great addition to the group.
Nako- She is so cute and a great singer, and I was so, so happy she made it.
Noe- I was surprised she got eliminated fairly early since she was really popular in the beginning. I love her happy energy.
Hitomi- She is very, very cute and is a great visual addition to the group. Her voice is very cute and will work well with cute concepts.

tbh yena is really underrated? she's not just a variety girl that people see,, ppl overlook her talent a lot and she's super all rounded. however about the final lineup, i am happy but i miss some from the top 30 who got eliminated after that. i was salty about minju for a while and suprised that kaeun didn't debut but the lineup overall is good, didn't expect chaewon to debut although im glad she did
i think the reason why hyewon got into the group besides her visuals was because she improved a lot in the show . they might not show that she practiced and improved a lot because of mnet but i think knetizens saw her visuals and her craving for improvement

They’re rankings before the final announcement literally did not add up, even earlier in the show the voting counts didn’t add up either. If I could make one change, I would have switched Hyewon out and placed Chaeyeon in her ranking, then put Chowon in Chaeyeon’s final ranking. Excited for Miyu who got picked up by Mystic Entertainment tho
This comes from a person who didn't watch Produce48 that much and at the debut day of Izone I started to stan them and also started to watch the series. IMO Izone is perfect with these 12 girls and they all deserved it. And the ones who weren't in the show that good have improved and that is something people should adore!

I didn't watch the show actively, and I only watched stuff from youtube. So when the line up was announced, I didn't know like half of the members and none of my picks actually made it in lmao
These videos are just a way to bash hyewon and minju... Hyewon was forced to rap in pd48 and she fucking tried her best to do her role as a rapper and she embraced that role throughout the show. Minju was average yes, but nobody could do killing parts better than her in the show.
These types of videos will also talk about how mnet rigged the results. First of all, no... First things first wonyoung got first over sakura. Why? Wonyoung was better at center than sakura. As much as I wanted sakura to get number 1, wonyoung outperforms her in most areas. Next is Yuri getting 3rd. She had a huge fanbase since idol school. Everyone who watched that show wants her to debut. She was a great singer. For Gaeun not getting in, I want to give a good reason. Asking people, who their second most favorute trainee, half of them would have said gaeun. And thats the problem. She wasnt a number one priority for most people. She would often be ranked second or third but rarely first. Just because she already has a background as an after school member, it doesnt mean she would get in easily. As for chowon, she was good, I admit but she was overhyped af. Her rapping is just shouting. Yes I said it, her raps are just shouting. Dont tell me her rap in rumor is better than yena's rap because fuck no you are delusional if you think that. As for Miyu, she is better as a solo than in a group. If ever she debuts in a group, most likely its a vocal group that focuses on ballads and softer songs. Juri and miho were not given screentime. Chaeyeon finishing 12th is the only thing that shocked me to be honest. The only reason she is that low in the rankings is because knetz think she is not good looking enough. Stupid right? But we dont know how koreans think so we cant judge their decisions.
sakura isn't just "there" though, she worked so hard and she did her very best to improve and show her different talents.

tbh, my pick has always been Sakura because i find her very eye catching and i think that Producers always vote for the one that catches their eyes, not the most talented one. she knows how to perform and although she isn't the best singer or dancer she is average and is improving constantly. i'm really proud of her and also of Hyewon and Minju. they are really showing everyone they deserve their spot, maybe more now than that night. but i honestly liked the line up

1. Chaeyeon, why? Because Chaeyeon is an all rounder trainee. When she was moved from I AM team to 1000% team, she was the one who helped them to memorize the dance. I am so happy for her debut
2. Kaeun, was robbed. She deserve to be a leader in IZ*ONE. Every evaluation, Kaeun is always at top 12, except last evaluation. She is talented than others who debut with iz*one
3. Eunbi, she is a good dancer and singer. That’s all
4. Sakura, i just want her because she have that potential to be an idol
5. Yunjin, got robbed. She is the best singer in Produce48. I am so sad when she got only 9 votes in concept evaluation.

Hyewon is there because of her rapping? Sure. I'd rather Han Cho Won, who Hyewon kicked to the 9th instead of 8th sub vocal position which was also available (insert clips of Chowon practicing Madewa repeatedly)

I think it's unfair that you say that Sakura is a mediocre singer/dancer/idol in general and then go on to say that Hyewon is flat out bad at singing. She's actually better than Sakura in terms of stability and tone, and the one thing Sakura has that beats Hyewon is charisma. Additionally, for what you said about the center, I think it should actually be flipped-- Wonyoung is prettier than Sakura (by korean beauty standards) but Sakura has way more charisma than her, which makes her stand out even more.
