- To check health of any railway wagons/coaches, now day Indian railways utilizing OMRS (online monitoring of rolling stock) which are installed & commissioned by Webtek Company based in Australia.
OMRS system basically consist of 4 (four) sub-systems,
1. WCM -Wheel Condition Monitoring,
2. RFID - Radio Frequency Identification,
3. Axle Bearing Acoustic Inspection - bearing inspection on sound basis
4. Vision system for coach / wagon number recording.
