It's inspiring to see a world class climber dealing with the same problem as me, which is too much sweat production. It's inspiring to know how he deals with it, which is to just train harder to be strong enough to shake out and chalk up every three to five moves. Keep it up Patxi, so will I! Luchadores!
Wait, wait, Luchadors are Mexican fighters, a purely Mexican tradition. While Paxti is Spanish, actually Basque to be precise?! Why do I think that La Sportive picked a Spanish speaking climber to advertise their Evolv Luchador shoes, but did not get the cultural references quite right!
Says a person without any perspiration issues. You do understand that there are many kinds of sweat, and the all people are different, and that if you are capable of doing something in one way, it does not mean everyone is also capable of doing it in that way, right? Chalk is for people who need chalk. Unfortunately, chalk is used by -everyone- and it shouldn't be. Some people simply do not need it, or only need it in the most specific of conditions. Some people, however, do literally require it in order to be able to stick anything but the most positive jugs.
+Phazaar true, I would say most people dont need chalk, it did take me months to get used to climbing without it, now I do put on chalk for outdoor projects, and the gain in stick is noticeable
