    My wife used to belay me all the time. In Kentucky 20 years ago, I look over and my wife is belaying a skinny young kid climbing way harder than me. It was Dave Graham. I thought my wife was the best belayer Dave.

      Jack Baker Belaying is a second part of climbing. It’s pretty much the person who is your life line, they stand and keep slack in or out of the rope that way if you fall you don’t die. Unless you Alex Honnold and find belaying dumb.
