I wouldn't have a single problem with the current system, unless playing alliance on a server (Ashbringer) that consists of 90% horde. It's very hard, especially as dps, low population makes it just time consuming. If that problem will keep persisting in the next phases I think many will consider either transfer or leaving.

Although I do agree the looking for group tool should be implemented, I disagree that its absense is the problem. I also disagree with your logic of needing the LFG tool, but not LFR. Although these two tools aren't mutually exclusive, keeping the social aspect for higher levels of game play is not too different, both are a matter of convenience and exposure. I believe the true issue at hand is the lack of endgame difficulty. Naxx was too easy. It went onto auto farm too quickly, and everyone got bored.

@@itsego_tv i suppose you havent done ulduar on ptr like a majority of high top guilds did , but yeah , its stupid hard , HM are hard and some bosses are stupidly broken like Algalon or what his name was , first month of ulduar will be mostly progression for the majority of people and will be a nice thing to see who takes ulduar first world , since its completly different to naxxramas who was done when it appeared

The Random Group Finder is literally a 2022 Christmas-New Years phenominon of players coming back from hiatus going off to play Retail are now like omg cross realm dungeons, sharded realms, heaps of people. But this is simply a result of lazy players expecting others to make groups. Because they can't leech anymore they can't be bothered to make their own. On near dead population numbers by modern standards I can make a group for Heroics and 10 mans on both an Alliance 1000 player faction and Horde 2000 player faction, same server. The problem is lazy leeches. To add when Blizzard buffed heroic dungeon ilvl to 200 it literally meant that the pre-raid gearing process was a simple case of get your weapon and then go leech in a 10 man raid until you had enough decent gear and did the daily quests enough to buy the odd Heroism piece and then just farm valours. Now yes, on my server there isn't enough organic people of recent to run 25 mans I agree but that's also due to everyone having at least two complete P1 BiS characters. I know this because that's me I have 5 level 80s and more on the way. I run Pug raids 10 and 25 and gear my alts outside of my raiding guild. When I feel like being lazy and want to find a group there aren't groups very often. The moment I actually post to for more, guess what I get a stack load of whispers. It's purely player behaviour. I've never seen so many stubborn players since LK that play hybrid classes and refuse to off spec anything other than a second DPS spec. LK has brought a new level of lazy leech players we did not see in Vanilla or TBC. If you played any hybrid previously you were expected by the community to be a hybrid and play flex when required and asked. Nowadays people are just leeching.
Now in terms of open world lvling, yep nobody believed me in vanilla or TBC when I said LK has the shittest and longest lvling experience of all modern wow expansions. The zones are great but from 70-80 every stupid quest gives the same amount of exp being 20k ALL the way. It's boring and slow as hell which detracts from the zones. TBC was slow enough but the zones outside of hellfire were fun, but TBC 60-70 vs LK 70-80 is night and day. Should there be Random Dungeon Finder for 10-70 or even to 78? I think you could do it but it also completely kills all the old content and is the reason why post cata not a single person bothered with levelling fresh characters. You just ended up using catch up mechanics to skip all the previous content and never went out into the world. Everyone in original LK exploited the WoW Battle Chest Recruit A Friend exp and RDF to non-stop farm dungeons all the way to cap and it was pretty questionable if you ask me in terms of just skipping the entire game. Like exploiting AV for 10 levels in Vanilla, TBC and LK is definitely a thing but it's 10 levels of the most current content you've most likely done recently so really you're just skipping the most recent part, otherwise the rest is like a refresher which isn't a bad thing and keeps the world relevant.
Go play Hardcore and stop complaining about levelling from 1-80 you'll truly learn about the fear of pulling 2 mobs and how careful you have to be in the world. You have to pay attention every moment. It takes a lot longer but it's also way more rewarding than original vanilla. It takes no joke 2 days played for most people just to get to level 20 in HC without dying.
But lets be real you're comparing the numbers of TBC release to P2 and LK release to P2, in TBC we had actually challenging heroics that were hard and required time to complete. Blizzard is adding hardmodes because the LK Heroics are so underwhelmingly easy. By the way the whole reason on Cata release they tuned dungeons back to TBC levels, until all the New LK players complained about the so-called difficulty which was not bad. Players just wanted to finish every dungeon like they did in LK within 15 minutes. But I digress, P1 LK is boring because of the dungeons and the gear, if dungeons give 200ilvl then how many face-roll dungeons do I have to do? If 10 man provides slightly better itemised dungeon items, why bother? Once You have enough gear you just farm 25 man Naxx, EoE & OS. There is no point to grinding Naxx 10 when everything is so easy and it provides barely even steppingstone items to 25 man.
Anyways Ulduar is going to be SSC/TK people will ragequit because they can't get Hard Mode bosses killed and will complain until Ulduar is nerfed and ToC is released when everyone is given straight up free catch-up gear. Consistent raid groups and raiders will farm the shit out of Ulduar as there is actual BiS for every class and spec in 10 man Ulduar unlike Naxx 10 which was only the very odd item for the odd class. So the amount of farming in 10 man, 25 man and all the Hardmodes, the consistent players will enjoy this phase. Players that aren't just for the nostalgia loot piñata and to get carried by the regular players on a server will loathe this phase. It's just that all the casuals will give up after week 6 and come back for ToC.
There is plenty to do in the game from Arena, Achievements to playing HC or levelling new characters. Just don't be a leech and make your own opportunities. Learn to Raid Lead and Dungeon Lead. It's not hard, learn the mechanics and the strategies then explain and execute. This is all the rose tinted goggles of players getting their fix of Retail before coming back to Classic.

I couldn't deaseagree more, the manual lfg isn't the problem, and implement the tool as they were wasn't a good thing back in time for me, and it wont be a good thing now too, its a mmorpg its part of the social aspect, i remember when i get back on WoW at legion extentions and literaly level up 1 to 120 without anyone speaking in dungeon the whole time with those tools.
I think the main problem is the lack of difficulty, heoric dungeon are a joke event with bad stuff, i barely leveled 80 that they were aready farms. and naxx maly and even sartha is kinda easy and also farm for to long now. People get bored because their nothing quite a bit challenging to do right now and the phase 1 was to long.
So my points is those tools will hurt the socials aspect of the game but not only, they will also make people bored faster of farming dungeons and raids that it actually free to farm.
I can be wrong ofc its just my points of view

I think player base has changed playstyle.
From what i could see playing classic wotlk (after years of pservers) i noticed that the majority of the players just want to get loot and, since phase1 content is so easy, most of the casual/average players don't even know all the (basic) mechanics of naxx bosses, i can garantee you that.
The lack of dedication required to achiv something is the reason why people are quitting, once ulduar we'll go on farm (will take a while) people will quit again.
I think 90% of the players that stepped into naxx for the first time in their life were able to clear it in 1 night.
Imagine levelling an alt and after farming a bit of gear you end up doing 2 naxx every week if not 3... Boring af

    • @itsego_tv
      @itsego_tv  2 года назад

The content has been easy that's for sure, totally agree.
I hope that with Ulduar, the content remains challenging for players to keep them interested.

Everything is a grind and no fun. Played for 2 months now full on and can't find ppl to play with. Leatherworking thinking it would be fun to make gear as I lvl'd as a druid, useless, fishing boring and useless, quests I can't solo so never get to finish the quest line. The list goes on. Time to quit and move on to a fun game.
