That was a lot of cards put in by the Open the Vaults, but I think Azrael got the best value with just getting his Sanctum. It propelled him from a player into the game to a major threat.
It’s good to see the most popular cmdrs being played, don’t see a lot of them yet on RUclips especially go-shin. Surprisingly well communicated for a smaller channel covering edh, keep it up the good videos guys 👍
If you guys are looking for some fun decks to play I would highly recommend (we don’t talk about) Runo Stromkirk for some super fun sea monster action. Nothing more satisfying running a gang of monster fellers all over your opponent. Would recommend watching a decktech from edh recast as that list is on point. 👍
Azrael should have been making two shrines after he had 6 out, but only saw one per activation. He could have had you dead and Kyle low on the turn he put you to 5.
I think Azrael don't discard land or shrine for the activation of the red shrine at the end, because the first card in the graveyard remains the same at the end of that turn. But it was a nice game.
In commander there’s a mechanic called commander damage, which says that if someone takes 21 or more damage from a single commander they automatically lose the game. BK buffed light paws up to such a high amount of attack that he was able to kill Kyle in 2 attacks using commander damage, this is a deck archetype called “voltron” where you try to buff a commander creature up a ton so you can kill your opponents with it in 1-2 attacks. If you’re curious about the history, it’s because commander used to be called EDH (Elder Dragon Highlander), where each player had a 7/7 Elder Dragon as a commander. The idea was that 3 attacks from an opponents elder dragon would be able to take a player out, or 21 commander damage in total, and even though it isn’t played just with legendary Elder Dragons anymore, the commander damage mechanic has remained.
For the Shrine Tokens or any “proxy” you need, If you have a printer and don’t mind cutting them out, this site lets you print out the tokens/cards: www.mtg-print.com/

This Light Paws of yours is way too peaceful.

I liked the intro so much I subbed before the game even started.

Excited for light paws sweet intro
Us too!
Yeah, I have Marton in my Wulfgar deck, which gets pretty brutal like this.
I have it in my Zada deck.
Wish we could have a deck list to play with the decks too
It’s in the description :)
Oh, my phone cut off the "more" button lol
I see in these older games you guys showed the commanders 👌 much better
Also great commentary. Including the snippets from the actual game
Great game!
great game fellas
I really want that mat Azrael uses
Yo this was hilarious!! What a bomb game!
I love to run spirit mantle in my light paws deck. Protection form creatures is so good
I don’t think they know that sanctum of all triggers the commander’s shrine token ability twice as well
Nice game!

I suggest using more answers. Everybody is doing what they want without being stopped.
Nice game
I low-key spent most of the Video staring into the eyes of the Narset Playmat
"We're super poor"
>Proceeds to play an Esper Sentinel next turn
Super poor cause one player bought an esper sentinel.
Magic helps make people poor I guess?
can anyone tell me how Kyle got instantly KOed by BK? sorry i'm not familiar with a lot of cards yet :3

Shorakai looting without paying 1 mana every time.
Am I the only person that got 7 shrine tokens from a booster box?
That's a straight up lie 😂😂😂😂
Great game! That propaganda did a lot of work.
propaganda for the win

Great Video btw and for the Shrine tokens just type “Shrine” as the card.
Man, I literally just bought a bunch of tokens about an hour ago. Wish I saw this first!
