The KC-390 is indeed an impressive, beautiful beast. Especially the KC-390 which has even more features then the C-390. But I can't help it my heart pull towards the old four-engine turboprop C-130 Hercules ❤❤
🇺🇸🇬🇧 Great images. The comparison between the planes would only make sense if they were on the same day, almost at the same time, with the same wind speed and direction and with the same amount of cargo.

@@frankyst3537 Well, according to the description it was the same day these two planes were landing. Impossible for two aircraft to occupy the same space and time so that can never be, but the time is pretty close as the shadows of the aircraft appear to be similar. As far as the same cargo, how about the same percentage of the maximum cargo of each plane. My original comment was more about the pilot's talent.
Neither pilot used the proper tecnique for landing in a crosswind because the military does not know this technique. Over the runway threshold, you lower the upwind wing, left one in the video, into the wind, then apply opposite rudder (right in the video) to keep the plane from turning in the direction of the wing that is lowered. Use opposite rudder to align the fueselage with the runway centerline, and aileron into the wind to keep the plane from drifting downwind. Then land on the upwind wheels (left in the video) first followed by the downwind wheels then the nose wheel. These were both ugly demonstrations on how NOT to make a technically correct crosswind landing. I have been a flight instructor for the past 55 years and teach the correct method as stated above, which is common knowledge in civil aviaition, to my civilian students.
Two nice landings :D
Thanks for watching
KC390 beautiful military plane 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
Thanks for watching ✈️✨
Amazing
Thanks my friend ✈️✨
Great Spot to film! 👍
Indeed! My favorite 🤩

Crosswind landings. The reason middle-aged captains have grey hair.

And let us not forget that the construction times are at least 60 years apart.
@@frankyst3537 Exactly.
C-130H aterrou a 3 tempos..... Alguém que tome conta aqui da cerveja....

Esse c130 parece uma maria fumaça 🚂 🚬...
C-130 for the win. Proper left wing down into the wind and a left gear down first as well. Textbook landing.

why ist that military pilots do not use this technique?
